Worst World in SMB3

Oh geez, don't remind me. World 7 was pretty much the cockblock of the game. I visited World 7 once, and never managed to complete that world again. That world pretty much required Raccoon/Tanuki Mario and Stars in one form or another to get through the evil stages where there are flipping mini Piranha plants above AND below you. Then you have the pipes. The pipes!

World 7 wasn't that hard. Fucking Airship on World 8.

Pipe world by far is a major pain in the butt to complete especially if you havent stocked up on powerups.
I hate the maps where the minipiranha plants pop out and in of those small pipes and hold there every 1-2 seconds.

Note: You can skip almost all the worlds by using the flute on the desert world.
To obtain the flute, use a hammer and break the rock in the overworld on the far top right part of the map, then kill the fireball bros in the level in the new area to obtain the flute. You can warp to world 8 that way.

In fact, never played any except Super Mario Bros the original. Got past the lion and that was it.

Games suck.

I always skipped World 7 from World 6. And I dont think Ive beaten world 8 before. If i had, I really dont remember doing so.

If my memory serves me right, I just didn't like Sky Land because of the whole slowly sidescrolling screen. Too slow!

I've never actually beaten world 7 before, so I just said "screw this" and warped there. I always liked playing through levels, rather than warping to levels, but world 7 pissed me off.

Agreed. When I was younger I could never get past the fucking water world. Took me until two years ago to get past it without whistles (although that was my first attempt in years to beat the game.)

I beat SMB3 100% loads of times, don't get what the hell is so hard.
No particular world was hard for me, really - it was all good. Therefore I vote World 1.

That was Super Mario Land, mister. On the Game Boy. And I loved that one... I sometimes play it from time to time now. It has its charm.

World 7 is just evil if you warped to it... no items to use = hell time.
