Nexon "The Office" Fans?
#21
IsaacGS Wrote:But the irony is that the ToS specifically forbids using the names of fictional people as IGNs. So, yeah, Nexon violating their own ToS... (Though, that's not new, prior screens have featured real names in them, which is similarly forbidden..)
I knew I had something wrong when I typed copyright instead. :f6:

Eh, I've never really watched The Office, but my girlfriend watches it a lot.

Lol at them violating their own ToS. Goes to show it's only there to cover their ass if something happens.

Yes, I do. I love The Office. Glitter

I think Nexon gets a +1 for this in my book. But that +1 doesn't make even a dent in the numerous -'s that it's accumulated over the years. Goggleemoticon

In all honesty I spent ten minutes watching The Office one day when nothing else was on. Most horrible show I ever saw.

Most real life comedie shows can't survive without a studio audience help generate laughs for the viewers, and they think they can?

And the humor was horrible. So predictable and not even funny. I remember specifically, the guy (from Anchorman, main char I think) was staring out of his window to this guy working. They just held the camera there like 10 secs, him staring, no background music, no laughing from studio audience, and they expect me to laugh?

I'm sorry if you're a "The Office" fan, but in my humble opinion the show is garbage.

Oh, so you need canned laughter to laugh?

That's kinda... sad.

99% of shows use a sound box. I seriously can't remember any sitcom that uses a live studio audience anymore. How I Met Your Mother did but then switched, sadly.
Off topic-ish: HIMYM is a great show too.

Barry is a first name. Mifflin is a last name. Bob is a first name. Vance is a last name. I'm guessing they either named the characters after themselves or just made up random names so they wouldn't be criticized for naming themselves something idiotic like "GalacticaCookie" on an official picture.

Hahaha. NO LAUGH TRACK? GARBAGE.

I can understand people not liking The Office (even though it's hilarious) because the comedy is very subtle. It's not MAKES A JOKE *30 second laugh track while the two people stop talking* MAKES ANOTHER JOKE. There are no jokes on the office, it's funny because it's realistic and awkward. Very. Very. Awkward.

But seriously I'm not sure how you can say a show is garbage because there's no laugh track. You must have the worst sense of humour ever. I bet you watch (and enjoy!) Two and a Half Men.

lack of a laugh track is by far the worst reason i've ever heard for someone to hate the office.

It's just one of the reasons I hate it. The humor just isn't in my taste too. The only thing I really find funny are movies like Harold and Kumar...Or shows like Family Guy with random humor.

And TheTyphoon oh god don't put that sh'it show here...Jesus Christ I would shoot myself if I had to watch that.
