GM Event Series

Part 1: GM Trivia



Date: 9/19/09 and 9/20/09 (Saturday and Sunday)

Time: Random times between 7 AM to 1 PM and 3 PM to 7 PM Pacific (10 AM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 10 PM Eastern)

Place: All servers, all maps



Never had a chance to flex your huge brain in front of your MapleStory peers? Never had any use for all the MapleStory info you've gathered lo these many months and years of playing the game? Then this event, dear Mapler, is for you.

On September 19th and 20th, during the hours of 7 AM to 1 PM and 3 PM to 7 PM Pacific, GMs will send up notices with trivia questions that will relate to MapleStory one way or another. Then they'll reveal their identity and open up their Whispers for 10 seconds, waiting for you to Whisper back the correct answer. The speediest of the smartest bunch--the one who supplies the correct answer first--will win all of these:

- 10,000 Maple Points

- Chance to win the grand prize of 100,000 Maple Points

- Personal visit and chat time with a GM

- Smega congrats from a GM, announcing you as the winner

So brush up on everything MapleStory because it's time to play trivia!

2 things.

1) They'll probably write the question with such horrible grammar no one will be able to answer anwyay.
2) 10 seconds of chat = tons of hate.

Not that i agree with him, but...who the hell are you and why the hell do you know so much about how GM functions work.

You HONESTLY believe they would let theirselves be susceptible to that many people? Highly doubt it. A monkey could code a toggle command for all of those. Considering Nexon's code, Its safe to assume they have monkies.

@takebacker: Well, aside from GMing PSes(which can toggle all of those), I can't provide proof, but you guys give Nexon credit for no more than picking their noses, they simply aren't THAT stupid. If PS'es can toggle them, you're damn sure the official version can.

Actually, if you'll check out my super-stealthy edit, you'll see that I admitted to having no proof. Also, you'll notice that half my posts in ANY forum are border-line trolling, hell, I've even been called on it. Kasuhitomi gave me the back of his hand twice.

This seems more like "who can type the fastest?" rather than a trivia game. Unless the trivia questions are hard...

It could've been worse. I remember reading about the SEA version of this a while back. They made the players answer with weather megaphones or something, lol (point is they had to use nx).
