Maple SEA Gets neo tokyo

Not to start anything here but perhaps the hidden motive isn't "BUY NX" but rather "put points into hp" to add somewhat a third dimension to the aspect rather than "Attack, Main stat, Statless secondary stat".

Unfortunatly, most of us will be waiting for the AP sells. And also, 50 ap=300 off your max range (statless classes specificially).

Is that hard to understand this?
YOU DON'T NEED TO HP WASH,or do you have less than 3.8k HP at the level enough to enter the last training area and face a lv 150 monster?
What do you guys think that Neo Tokyo is?Monsters spamming Genesis around the map,and dealing over 20k to a ranged job don't be able to survive their attacks?

Then,you'll have to HP wash for time temple,the highest damage by a non boss in Neo Tokyo is 4k if you don't know.
Plus most of the monsters are freezable there.
What i can see is,just a batch of people looking for a reason to bash Neo Tokyo,sincerely,if you want to make it look like a bad town,use another reason,because this one doesn't make sense.
Plus,crouching after each attack,or walking to the opposite side of the boss is really that hard?
Then,JMS players must be a lot pro,because the thing that happens most is that they kill bosses from there without even getting hit.

I'm just going for what other people has said in the past, even JMS players, that Neo Tokio mobs can deal insane damage. I am not trying to bash Neo Tokio. As I already mentioned in previous post, I consider it one of the best WT areas because of the design and story in it. and thats why I consider a pity for someone to have to lvl to 160+ to be able to enjoy it. As Ï'd consider an insult if washing was also necessary.

It was a glitch, it was supposed to be Magic Attack. They have long since fixed it though.

From the videos I’ve watched it seems like most of the bosses high damaging attacks can be avoided.

I thought people wanted high level challenging content, seems no one is pleased. I have seen Marksmen training there perfectly fine thanks to being able to freeze. Seems that only Bowmasters get shafted the most, but they'll be able to take part in boss runs anyway.

-facedesk- Those damage rumors were a farse. They never dealt more than 4k damage in a single hit. The only things capable of doing that kind of damage is a boss.


Like I said before, if you're not man enough for the challenge, admit it.

Absolutely agree'd. Even Pink Bean deals too much damage for a normal non-HP ranged class to survive. Another boss I don't really like, but whatever. If it's just ONE boss, I might accept it, but when a new area with 10 bosses which have that "problem" get released, I can't really stand that.

Please don't take pink bean into this. We dont want to start a flame war and get the thread closed (although It kind of one already). Pink bean is the current end game boss and last challenge in the game, period.

I was going to drop out of this, but if you can survive zakum and/or horntail, you can survive any of the bosses up to aufheben if you know the strategy. You can probably even survive aufheben more or less. WITHOUT. HP. WASHING. Although aufheben is up there in challenge with PB, it still is easier then it.

You can and you can't; he was too low leveled 9 months ago to do it himself, and dennis was the only one who could go there.

On another scale, neo tokyo has changed since it's original release. It isn't as faggy as it was when it was released. I've clocked iruvata doing maybe 4k on a test server. She's the highest level regular monster.

i just think some people think that nobody will survive a boss that hits 24k dmg, when they dont know if its avoidable. it's like saying "omg anego has a 18k magic attack, no range will be able to kill", when that attack, along with her gunshot, is avoidable. some people don't give enough credit to nexon and their boss strategies.

Looks like you don't do / read quests, because if you did, you'd know that Pink Bean is just a monster summoned for a mistake from Kirston, and that the REAL end-game challenge and end game boss is SUPPOSED to be the Black Magician.

THAT is supposed to be the end-game boss, seeing how everything in Maple "kind of" goes around him: the Pirates are there ready for his return and to fight against him, same for the Knights of Cygnus: their main purpose is to protect the Empress Cygnus and the Maple World from the Black Magician, whenever he'll return, and his allies of the Black Wing, who currently are trying to summon him back and wreak havoc in the Maple World.

I'm not bashing Neo Tokyo, I'm just saying, I don't like it and hope NEXON won't release it. If they removed the option of buying the cahs item to complete the quest to enter Neo Tokyo, and lessened the damage dealt by BOSSES (since people are saying that the max. damage dealt by monsters there is 4k, even if I remember seeing Iluvatar dealing like 7k in a video), I'd like Neo Tokyo. Until then.. oh well.

And MrFry, that was when everything was in a horrible state in neo tokyo, mobs did more damage. And stuff cost a pomegranateload of money. And no one knew why they threw a high level area out there that almost no one could do; but times have changed. Populations have increased, thinks are more feasible. And Combattente, TheTyphoon isn't complaining about it, and he is a bowman.

yeah, im a ranged class, and i couldnt be more excited. it's called a challenge, thats what everyone wants isn't it? sure i dont expect to go in there and kill it on first try, or second try with a party once its in gMS. i'd much rather have this than more low lvl content that means nothing to me. besides, if i cant survive even w/out hb 100%, i can just make a warrior or mage. that IS why nexon gave us 3 slots per account isn't it? alot of you people act like we're limited to the one character we're currently playing. make another character, level it up, do different things.. isnt that the point of this game? ~O~
