Lag since .75 Patch?

I've been lagging incredibly as well. I hardly ever lag, and I'm lagging terribly. I've died several times on my TB + Marksman because of the lag.

So, I got fed up with the lag problem and sent customer support a ticket about it, and got this as reply (they also closed the ticket):

This can happen when you use a download manager to download MapleStory. Please be sure to download the installer using Internet Explorer and save it to the desktop and install it from that same location.

Also this can be an issue with your actual windows system, in which the install wizard is corrupted or altered. If you are having issues with your windows installer you will need to consult with a computer professional, as this is out of our area of assistance.

Also if you click the link below the downloaded to simply download the installer the old way, this may help you.

At first I thought they either replied the wrong ticket, but then again, could this be true?
I don't use a download manager, but my maple was patched over and over with they're patcher, so it's possible they somehow screw up the files.

Anyone ever try re-installing maple as a lag solving problem and got it to work?

I think I'll try it anyway next time I get the major lag, just to be sure...

That's their basic copy-paste response on dealing with lag. An unbelievable amount of dumb people log tickets because their computers aren't good enough to run maple.

It's not you it's the patch. They added super lag (idk what they did). My computer could handle an all bishop zak run and HT runs without any lag before the patch. Now it lags just training or going through portals. O.O The only thing changed on my computer since the patch is maple's patch.

Still, it may work to uninstall and reinstall if they messed up the patcher somehow.
