Mu Lung Dojo
sinisterboy9 Wrote:Mu Lung Dojo was never meant to be used as a training PQ. It's for fun and belts. Also, the bar fills up fine, I got it filled full soloing before Lord Pirate, and I'm a Dawn Warrior. Bosses not summoning near enough, that isn't even a bug, it shows you where it'll spawn, so what's the problem?

think he/they meant the delay in their summoning, but that could just be server lag.

They nerfed paps exp? Awesome, so we should be able to keep this pq style permenatly then. I wonder why KMS didn't just do this?

Just tried it out and as a marksman sitting on the portals and killing everything in one hit except frankenroid and snack bar (frostprey finishes BMM), each 69-point cycle takes a tiny bit less than two and a half minutes in total. So we farm 1656 points per hour, coming out to 10 hours and 15 minutes of non-stop grinding it out for each set of belts. Other classes will probably take a bit more time. If anyone knows of a faster way, I'd like to hear it, only reason I include rounds 16-20 is because of that frankenroid with its blind and high hp, and I'm pretty sure the downtime with doing just blue mushmom and crimson balrog over and over again makes it inefficient.

Well, I managed to fully charge on King Slime with full HP.

Though, I used the skill by accident...

EDIT: Whee, the 50 HP works way better. Thank you Isaac, I finally managed to defeat round 5. Still get PWNed by 9, though.

Thanks for that info. You can only get 3500 points a day so it makes getting them take a little longer. I'm not concerned, I'll probably take weeks to get a black belt anyway.Stunned

Well this is a good surprise. Nexon did the right thing, keeping the method that generally keeps it fun, and just nerfing Pap's exp to keep it from being exploited.

This might be one extra thing that might have caused the patch to last a little longer. Not that many hours, but it might have been a last minute idea.

no i was not going to exploit this on my corsair[as i said earlier in this thread] i wanted to simply lvl my wind archer here since its hard as hell to train with it without Hawk, and i was hinting @ the fail Pap 50K exp, the PQ itself is fun n all

2. heal your MP To full, but do not heal HP
3. go into dojo
4. use invincibility and power explosion to rip everything apart

at like 50 HP the bar charges in about 10 hits so it's ridiculously easy to stay in invincible once that happens.

Of course since it's hard to get MP you may have to grab a power elixir to heal your MP. Just get hit to low health again before using the invincible to make up for it.

of course if the boss refuses to summon then you're just pineappleed. Thanks leviathan!

Ty *tries it*

Opeth Wrote:I don't know what you were expecting honestly.

i was expecting what i saw in a vid of KMS dojo where a corsair (and a BM in a dif vid) used Rapid fire/hurricane for a few moments and had enough for invincebility before pap even hit them, but thanks to Isaac i know that my hp needs to be low

I assume 69 points - level 16 to 27.

I timed it on my NL and I can do 16-25 in about 3 min 30 seconds, if nothing bad happens. Unfortunately Fronkenroid likes to Darkness the instant he spawns so then it's more like 4-4.5min... 26 is pretty fast and 27 (Crimson Balrog) 1hkos me so it's really hit or miss. Anyway I'm expecting about 16-18 hours to get a black belt.

And no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the stupid skills to work so this is purely surviving by being awesome...

damage reflect too? god damn it's like they just crammed every annoying skill a boss can possibly have into one and then made it be the leader of a place where you can't even pot freely. it's like they want people to punch their monitors in.

Guys, don't even bother with Mu Gong unless you just want the feeling of accomplishment. You get 100k exp and a fall back to the beginning. What fun.

Mu Gong only exists to give you a sense of accomplishment in the Dojo anyway.

And a 5 attack medal if you kill 100(yeah right)

Said medal expires...

The dojo's awesome for more quests to be completed. Medals are cool just to see I got them, and never again.

I don't think mu gong's that bad. All of his lethal attacks can be dodged (DR has a really obvious animation), and you can take the time in between seduce cooldowns to charge invinciblity after getting 1/1'd (voluntarily or not). Not really that bad design in my opinion.

dunno about you but when I get seduced it's game over. He always comes and sits on my head until invincible runs out once i'm seduced.

I got seduced once but it only lasted ~10 seconds. He stepped forward a bit but I still had just enough invincible timer to run back and spam Rapid Fire for 5 seconds to fill up my bar again.

Damage Reflect wasn't a problem at all, the animation is pretty obvious.

You have to time it so that it lasts the whole way through seduce and a bit more, its cooldown for seduce is 60 seconds between each cast, giving you enough time to charge up with 1hp even if you have to normal attack. Unless you're a bowmaster or corsair with mp of course.
