How does oak barrel work exactly?

It's pretty clear that at max, it has a 10% rate of being spotted by a mob. But how often does the mob "hit" you? Like when you normally get hit, your char blinks and you'll not take hit during the blink. What's the time interval between each hit while in barrel?

Also does ducking down while in the barrel really help(if so, by how much?)? In the description it says "if you're lying down, it's literally impossible to tell the difference", tho I don't see any difference.

Basically, the mob stops attacking you with it's special attacks, but it will still pursue you physically (touch). The barrel breaks the moment the enemy actually lands a hit on you. I rarely get hit with the barrel. For example, on a stroll from the entrance of Time Temple to Oblivion 4 (~15 maps of monsters to bypass) the barrel breaks maybe once or twice. If you are hit the moment the barrel comes on, it won't break; the invincibility time for the barrel is the same as without it, but since it breaks in one hit anyway, it doesn't really matter.

I asked if CSB is better/faster than barrel to travel through ToT, and you told me it's awesome in other place, wtp?

Does it matter? I just stroll right through Time Temple and kill all the monsters as I'm running by.

I just started my brawler a few days ago (right now level 35) and i was wondering...Which Brawler skill should i put off so i can max Oak Barrel? I was thinking one of these three.

- Corkscrew Punch lvl20
- Elbow lvl20
- Double Uppercut lvl20

Which one of these skill become replaced/useless in 3rd or 4th jobs?

None, you just don't max mp recovery and max barrel instead, then at 11x, you don't get shockwave to 21 and get mp recovery to 10 instead.
