Title is irrelevant to picture.
I dont have photoshop so I used graphics gale to make it look like the original drawing (darkened, gray scaled, contrasted) (My Scanner sucks, thats also why the picture is tilted.
I drew this completely with pen.

The Title says "Ourselves" NOT Influenced from any song you might be thinking of.

I would say for a critique, the main thing you lack is depth to it. There's that huge white space in the middle at the top and bottom. Between those and the lack of shading, it makes it a very flat image. Even doing a horizon line would have improved that a fair amount, though there are still enough errors elsewhere that it'd be noticeable. It doesn't have to be overdcrowded on the page, or even have a lot to it, but putting in some background and shadows can really make an image seem to pop off the page. Oh, and the overlap you had going on in the bottom left corner is a good trick to adding depth. To me, that was the best section of your drawing, and would have been even better if some shadowing had gone on to emphasize the difference in location. And while I'm on that section, the crossed legs need some work for the one sitting up higher. Eh anyway, don't want you to think it was terrible or anything, I just tend to start rambling on when critiquing something. XP

As far as comments go, I'd say it's a very good try. I think if you want to do a rose next time, you should replace the o with it or or put it inside the o. Another possibility, to use up some of the space above and below, would be to have it twined around the letters, and then blooming above it.

Thank you.
Ive never done crossed legs before, so, yeah.
The white space i knew about, I left it like that because, well, i didnt feel like drawing in the background.
I dont shadow, at least not alot, I know how to, i just usually dont, as long as i can awe normal everyday people, its fine.
Its also the first time ive done a rose. Practice makes perfect Tongue.

Since I was drawing with pen only, I couldnt go back and fix mistakes, so, I just drew over them.
