I always clicked on the flowers as soon as they came into view. This forces you to do the whole JQ.

Nah, they made those quests 1 per day at the same time they made them proximity sensitive.

Whats the point of the position check? a hacker can just move anywhere in the map, all it does is adding more stress when doing this legitly.

What they did wasn't quite dumb. There are some hacks that also vac the NPC close to you. Why bother going to the NPC when you can make it come to you?

That's the point. I think it may have come in the magatia(?) patch, where there was a jq with a totally dark room. If you could click it from farther away, you could have completed the jq by just falling and walking to the end instead of staying on the platforms. I guess they decided to do it to all jq completion npc's instead of just that one.
