I would like to request cork screw blow range at different levels, numbers would do if they mean the same as rush in 4th job skill table. And if possible, how far it pushes mob away at different level.

Thanks a tons!!

The range at each level is in the ride column of the table. Handy pictures > numbers. The monsters end up comfortably in front of you at all levels, so the edge of the range picture, give or take.

Thanks for help, I knew that thread but I didn't know(or forget) it has the range listed.

But, the the mob do not stop in front me comfortably at all level >.< That's the main reason why I asked.

At level one I can reach the rushed mob with any attack, but at level 20 the mob get rushed way far over its range.

If you need a reference to what I mean:

 Spoiler
Char rushes left to the end of the red box, mobs stops right next to you.

 Spoiler
Char rushes left to the end of the red box, mobs gets pushed to the wall.

Maybe they move 200% as well, so if you hit one toward the end of your range it goes farther? I dunno. Been a long time since I was on my brawler. XP

Sometimes they're right in front of you and sometimes they're not. Depends where and when you hit them. Some people suggest not maxing it because they'll always be in front of you but that's retarded.

It's not retarded >.<

My marauder has it maxed and I hate it, ALWAY push mobs too far from me. On my striker it's lv1, I'm loving it. Though the initial range is abit short.

Trying to find the perfect balance between the two.

It's the strongest starter attack you have...

Not to mention that you'll want the range for assaulter style moves at typhons (jumping from the platforms on the top left to the platform on the upper middle rings a bell) and other spots later on when you won't use it for damage much.

Besides, you don't really have any other choices for putting the SP into.

How are you gonna Dragon Dance when the mobs are sitting right on top of you? Very bad idea to NOT max it out. It's oh so useful in 4th job to keep my pots per hour down to a reliable 120-180 instead of this 300-400 bullshit leeched pirates complain about.

Corkscrew Blow + Dragon Strike = win.

I couldn't care less about the starter damage. Seriously what is a non spammable attack goona do for you??? Tightly formed mob > spread apart mob.

Edit: ^ I wouldn't know how it goes with DS in 4th job, since my marauder is only lv84. But as far as lower level training goes, I'm loving my lv1 CSB on my striker alot more than lv20 CSB on my marauder.

Btw doesn't lv1 and lv20 have the same invincible frame? If you're not fast enough to do DS on time, you'll get hit anyways.

You don't see it much in 3rd job, but it helps forms a tight mob in 4th job way more often than you think. How? I'll leave that for you to figure out.

Corkscew is a godsend in 4th job. Dragon dancing slows pot consumption by a ton.

In my experience, i've had 3 things happen with corkscrew: far in front of me; just in front of me; and behind me.

Behind occurs with a perfect timing inbetween mobs i believe, which is key to dragon dancing in a full mob too. Not sure how it works with the forward facing striker though.

I hate level 1 Screw on my Thunder Breaker, it's so damn stupid. I have to get too close to the monsters to advance.

I'm just 5 SP on Lightning Charge away from starting to max, thank God!

I'm eat the crab xD

gonna slowly add it to the point it pushes mob too far, and reset that point back. And see if I need it maxed at the end.

Hopefully SP reset works for cygnus o.o

Edit: I think I'm set with lv5..the distance it pushes mob increases as much as the distance inscreased on its hitbox, if anyone is interested.
