New infraction - Forum Bashing

From this point forward, any post containing any forum bashing will receive a 2 point infraction (equal to flaming).

Please watch your words when speaking of other forums.

Question. If a person were to speak his or her mind about another forum that isn't at all 'related' to SouthPerry, especially if it's to critique another forum (but trying not to do it in a harsh and negative manner), would he or she get an infraction?

To what kind of degree would result in an infraction?

I view forum bashing under the same guise of flaming. The only difference is that the focus is on a forum instead of a person. Similarly how you can critique a person and not be flaming, you can critique a forum.

a forum isnt a person is a group of individuals or the representation of an ideology at best. if you going to warn for forum bashing include star bashing, sport team bashing and of course furry bashing.

this is a step towards being like a forum that can not be named in fear of getting a warn.

You can talk about them all you want. The issue here is starting drama between SP and other sites, or making people from Basil/SW/etc feel not welcome here.

It is necessary to maintain respect for our peers. Many of our members come from other more established forums. This is not the end of the world. To not speak poorly of other forums is a simple task to accomplish.

It's not hard to understand guys, quit making this hard. Just don't talk negative about other forums. Quit trying to ask questions trying to find a loop to be able to talk about it.. there are some things best left unsaid. This forum should be a place for Maplestory, making friends and meeting up on here and talking about the game knowing what's happening , not to be rude to each other and other sites.
