Half of y'all are gonna leech anyway Komality Wrote:This -.- Kind of an unwarranted assumption, gentlemen. I like to think the Southperry community would never stoop so low as to LEECH. I know one of you is in a "Holier than thou" guild and I would never, ever assume said members of the guild would ever leech. It is IMMORAL AND WRONG. Not to mention lazy and selfish! Leechers take up ranking spots that deserve to be given to people who ended up quitting and never playing their characters again. Right?

Indeed that is truly the case right? Nah not really, but what I am getting at, is majority always go to the easy route in the end, which defeats the whole purpose of even making the character to begin with. Where is the effort put into making the character when said person is hanging off a rope. I'm not saying all SP people will do said thing, but I won't go as far as to say that no one here won't leech.
tl:dr: GMS needs the KMS party xp thing.

I still like how the whole Cygnus hall of fame In MSEA was basically filled up in the first 24-48 hours o_o
Anyway, would energy/blast be better for CPQing than corkscrew and a bit of energy?

Depends on the topic of leeching here, if you're leeching from lv 10-110, that's pretty sad... considering that 'training' at those levels are pretty easy. When I played my PADK (and note, PADKs were terrible at 1-v-1 damage), I never leeched on that at all. I trained it all the way til 10X. Only on my Night Lord, I started leeching at late 120's or so, but that's because my NL dies in just 2 hits from a Skeles, and I had no Shifter. -rolls eyes-

I've read all the posts and am still not sure, so here's a second job build to criticize:
10 hp increase 5 mastery 6 booster 19 mastery 4 energy charge 11 blast 20 energy charge 20 blast 20 corkscrew 20 lightning charge 20 mastery 11 booster
2009-07-25, 05:24 AM
1 corkscrew early for movement and mobbing cyanne :O
the added versatility will help greatly

Based on my marauder experience, I would do:
10 HP 1 CSP 5 mastery 6 booster 1 charge 11 blast 19 mastery 20 charge 20 lightning 20 blast HP first without a doubt. 1 CSP for mob organizing. 5 mastery to unlock booster. 6 booster for decent timer. 1 charge to use blast. 11 blast to hit 3 mobs. 19 mastery to stabilize. 20 charge to gather orb quicker. 20 lightning makes 11 blast 367.2%(459% with advantage!), plus the bonus to other skills. 20 blast for even greater damage Note: I didn't forget CSP, but I believe if I want damage I would rather pull it from blast or even SSK. So I left it at 1 till late 2nd job.

Does charge at level 2 even charge fast enough for blast to be useful? All the builds I've seen so far go 10 charge first before adding any to blast, but I put 4 because that's when it gives 12 weapon attack, the same as a warrior elixir, so I don't actually lose anything with energy. Or does it not count as a buff?

I have none actual experience of this build, since I don't have access to cygnus. I made it based on my marauder experience, so it's just what I think may work and what I prefer.
What I was thinking was, blast only require 3 mobs to its max potential. If you get mastery first, you would have to rely on SSK before you get 11 blast, which requires 6mobs to its max potential. So getting blast might be better since you can find mobs of 3 a whole lot easier. But SSK with mastery wouldn't be bad against 3 either, compared to lv5 mastery blast. Oh and I hate SSK's hit box, that's another reason why I wanna get rid of it ASAP. Also builds are highly dependent on training place. Let say if you cpq room 3-4 alot you oughta get mastery first to strengthen SSK as much as possible. If you train on place where you can't have large mob easily blast would be your best bet.

Cyanne Wrote:Thanks for reminding me, forgot about that =pI don't like builds, I always use freedom with every build i've ever followed, so I usually have like 2 of this skill 7 of that skill and 14 of some other skill at any point in time, so I can't give you a 100% accurate build (who can?). Your build should reflect your training style, and I can't tell gMSers a perfect build mainly because the best place to train kMS has for 35~80 is magatia. But I say that it's not gonna make that much of a difference, if everyone levels as fast as i've seen (1~30 in like 2 days, 30~50 2 more days)

Right now I'm in the middle of the second job build, and I have to say, CSB really surprised me. I was skeptical at first, but it just blew me away. It easily one hits at max charge, and does the same as ssk just tapping it. Probably not news for actual brawlers. I guess with the tubes, Cygnus just has it made.
However, I am completely torn between maxing booster or Blast for later on. While I could just max Blast and max boost in third, it just seem like a waste. Is it really worth it? Could the nine extra points be better used later on in third job? It wouldn't change the flow of the build, but at endgame, it'd give that extra boost to Shock Wave or any of the other odd skills. How necessary is that extra 54%?

Here's my build so far at level 58:
(all in oder) 1 CSB............................don't really care about 10or 20 hp 10 HP 5 mastery 6 booster.......................at least training doesn't seem that boring with booster 19 mastery.....................started trucker at around lv38, needed the accuracy to hit trucker 1 energy charge..............to use blast 11 blast.........................hits 3mob, pineappleing great at mp3, started mp3 at 50, no miss with zhelm 20 energy charge............charges faster 20 blast.........................more damage 9 booster.......................personal preference 6 lightning charge............boost to all skills Going to max lightning next, at 58(actually even a few levels before) mp3 gets slow, but can't hit windraider 100% even with 140 accuracy, so waiting to lv60 to go winraider

I'm level 66 so far. I went with
Max HP Increase. 5 Mastery. 6 Booster. 19 Mastery. 7 Lightning Charge. 2 Energy Charge. 11 Blast. Max Energy Charge. Max Blast. Max CSB. Max Lightning Charge. 11 Booster. Max Mastery. I added in the 7 Lightning Charge early on since I've been living in Singapore since level 42. Tried to keep casting it+booster convenient. I loved having EC+EB early on since the big mobs help you gain energy quickly. I don't really like having to charge CSB for max damage. It's just really a rush skill for me.
