I'm a buccaneer now...and I'm totally confused

I can't seem to get dragon dancing to work. When I try to use it to mob skeles, I take damage like crazy, even though I am alternating between DS and CSB.

Also, can I start soloing skeles right off the bat, or should I stay at himes for another 5 or so levels?

Somebody enlighten me with their wisdom! Glitter

Get Speed infusion (lvl 1). It still wont leave you invincible the entire time, but it'll let you CSB much sooner so you'll be less likely to take a hit. Still though, not 100% invincible.

I have lvl 1 SI. Is evading an attack when transitioning from DS to CSB a matter of timing?

Entirely.

Or you could just spam your CSB button, your choice really.

"Dragon Dancing" isn't perfect. No matter how much you practice you'll still take damage. An optional way to be 100% invincible is to CSB > DS > CSB > Barrage > CSB > DS etc. Doing this at Oblivion Guardians has left me invincible everytime.

That's how I train there without the skill updates. Big Grin

Another great tip is putting DS alone in a macro, it takes away the abilitty to do Jump+DS but it makes dragon dance a lot easier.
About training solo at skeles right away, I'm not sure. At 124 I still get only 8% or so an hour so I feel like it sucks or like I do something wrong XD I think I'll go back once I have Cygnus boost and/or maker for better equips... or with DS 21.

Also, when is the best level to start soloing skeles? Getting a party would be nice, but its almonst impossible in Khaini :/

So, for Dragon Dancing, unless you add Barrage, you can't have 100% invinciblity?

I never used Dragon Strike too often... I usually CSB whenever I have mobs in my way.. If they're behind me (which, I prefer it be that way), I BackSpin and Barrage+DS. I've never done CSB+DS over and over though.

Well, can someone please tell me what the hell CSB is? Seriously!

EDIT: Umm, I just realized it was Corkscrew Blow. Never mind.

Cork Screw Blow. I'd rather saw Corkscrew to avoid confusion, but eh.

EDIT: Would also like to mention I 'prefer' Barrage over Dragon Strike is because:

If Skeles aren't killed quick within 2 hits of Dragon Strike, they will continually blast away at you, also, DS is a mob attack, which means it's technically slightly weaker than Barrage. Also, Barrage has invincibility-frames as soon as you use it. Assuming you can finish a Skeles off within 1 single Barrage, you avoid more damage, unless there's a mob on both sides. Usually, I just BackSpin so that Stun Mastery kicks in and I double-upper or just start Barraging like mad. Sometimes, I BackSpin first and then CSB them, then Barrage. I never liked DS too much unless there's more than 5 at a close-area.

I enjoy my Brawler. But not as much as I enjoy pi. (Man, I haven't done anything related to pi since January)

Most people perfected CSB dancing at level 70, after 30 levels of CSB + SSK godmode.

Dragon Dancing requires the same skills that you need at level 40, it's not that hard really. Just practice it some more then.

Did you have any trouble staying in godmode 100% during the 80 levels between level 40~120 too? Because if you had, then you're just chaining them wrong. :o

YOU LET OUT THE SECRET Sad
Anyways, macroing DS alone allows you to cork-DStrike-cork-DStrike and be 100% invincible, something that I couldn't do without macroing. I still get hit sometimes due to faulty timing, but if you get it right this'll keep ya safe.
Before level 21 DS skeles aren't a great idea. Just takes too long to kill. 11+DS makes Peak pretty decent, though. You also have Himes thar.
