Leeched Corsair

I don't think anyone cares about fame anymore. If you have low fame, it's kinda normal now... People don't fame eachother as often as they did back in the day... Goggleemoticon

I leeched my Night Lord a couple levels because of how intensely-slow it takes it grind.. and gain EXP regardless of how strong my gear is. Mobs > 1-v-1 kills. Doesn't matter if you leech nowadays, back then, I was a bit against it, but now everybody does it anyways, eh. However, I go on my Bishop to leech my Night Lord, and don't / refuse to buy leech from another Bishop. So technically, I am 'playing'.

I've played my Rogue, up to an Assassin, up to a Hermit, up to a Night Lord. I 'know' how to control my character, only difference here is I know how to jump small to huge gaps with FJ properly without falling off ledges, where-as, I've seen most NLs are terrible at that. Lern to jump forward, press back and FJ to make a small-loop pl0x~

now ladies go back to flaming each other for no reason, it is amusing.

Leech or not when u get your skills up theyre gonna be new to you so either way your gonna have to learn to use them your just gonna decide what level you wanna "learn" how to use your skills.

IMO just leech you've earned your levels on your other 2 chars already no need to struggle anymore. and if smartass nightlords talk down at you about it just f2 and walk away :]
theres always mini dungeons not like they can do anything about it

ITT: Leechers try to defend themselves for being lazy arses and contributing to the death of Maplestory.

Now I have a question. What If you had a 10X char. and you hacked and deleted. How do you feel anout that. Thats what with my Outlaw so I had to make another. Now I'm leeching to get to 120 and I dont really feel bad about. I still have fun and I still get stuff done.

I vote for leeching the gunslinger, because that is the exact same that I am currently doing. After busting my ass to get a Shadower to 200, I really don't need to waste my time in the early levels again (under ~140). Plus, at a certain point leeching just becomes slow and training becomes much faster. Once training becomes faster, it is time to stop leeching.

Wasting your time? Do you mean that the game changes after level 140? Oh my God, can you link me to that version of MapleStory please?

As far as I know level 1 is the same as level 199: grinding to the next one.

If you truly think Level 1 is the same as one in fourth job, then you clearly haven't been play Maple. Sadly, that is a very short sighted attitude but if that is the way you feel then so be it. Not everyone thinks the same.

And if you actually read the post, instead of again using your short sighted attitude and apparently inept reading ability, the level reference was for leeching versus training. No one claimed the game "changes."

... and I was referencing to your "wasting your time" statement. Why do you want to "play" a Gunslinger if you are "wasting your time"? Early levels are as fun as the last ones. After "bursting your ass off" to 200, don't you feel dumb leeching another character?

If you need to leech a character to ~140, it's clear that you don't enjoy the game anymore. Do yourself a favor and don't let anyone else play the game for you... and if you are doing the leeching yourself, don't lie to yourself thinking you are playing the pirate.

Leeching is dumb, retarded and useless no matter which way you want to see it. The "I am level 200, I deserve to not grind anymore" is a failure excuse. Being level 200 doesn't entitle you to waste a spot on the ranks.

No. Being efficient in using your time is in no way dumb, it is actually quite the opposite.

News for you, TRAINING is not the only thing in this game. While I can enjoy grinding at times, sometimes I'd rather just party and do Boss fights. To say that leeching to 140 does not mean I enjoy the game anymore further proves your short sighted view on the subject. If I choose to leech/train to a certain level, using my own Bishop, I still AM playing; as I said above training is not the only part of this game, only a portion.

Again, training in the most efficient way (yes, I said training, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to train to characters at once) is not "dumb, retarded, and useless no matter which way you want to see it." And again, stop putting so much emphasis on training and "ranks," the later I could care less about. If you want to complain about someone "wasting" a spot on ranks, complain about hackers.
