My Quest for the PQ Mania Medal!

So. I'm Kevin/Dox, and I'm going to attempt the nearly impossible; Going for the PQ Mania Medal!

Why? I'm bored, and I think PQs are fun.

I'm going to update this thread daily with my progress, so you guys can cheer me on so I have a little more incentive to keep PQing. I had some people look up what is needed for an S Rank in a few PQs, and some don't seem THAT hard to do...

 Update 1 - 6/28/2009

Today was AWFUL. Seriously, the longest PQ's of my life. As you can see, the fastest time is 6 minutes, 59 seconds. TERRIBLE. EVERY party I was with had a newbie in it that didn't know what the pineapple they were doing. Me, being a tolerant, patient person, didn't kick them. This mistake only netted me 16 PQs here today. Much thanks to Sarah and Erich for the help in here today.

 Update 2 - 6/30/2009

Today rocked, quite a lot. Got about 40 more PQs in today, and advanced to Gunslinger. The Tube helps IMMENSELY. 67 Attack gun...At level 30? Hot. I also ran into a King Slime Card today. I've only seen TWO in 47 PQs; PQ Number 4, and PQ Number 43. Some idiot looted it in PQ 43 when I CLEARLY stated in PQ numbers 37-43 to him that if the card dropped, it was mine. Someone got loot happy. I'll deal with him later...

Long day of PQing. Got quite a few in; I would have gone on for a few more hours before the server check, but I ran into a noob, and I was tired of dealing with noobs today. The story of this noob can be found [URL="http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13832]here[/URL]. Because of him, and my impatience with people such as him, I quit the PQ. Once I hit 91 tries, which I assume I will do tomorrow, I can just enter the PQ 9 more times, and just keep leaving over and over. Overall; Good Day.

 Update 4- 7/1/2009

Well, I did it. S Rank in Kerning City Party Quest! Smooth day. Nothing too special...Except when I was exiting and re-entering the PQ for the last 10 times, someone somehow got my name...And by someone, I mean about 5 parties. Seriously, it was insane. After entering on PQ 97...I lost the ch I was doing. Took me about 5 minutes to recover on my feet and luckily find another ch to finish it up on.

Did my first EFPQ to test it out today. Not too shabby if I say so myself. I can't wait to be done with LPQ to start out on EFPQ! It'll be fun times. EFPQ is more of a jump quest type thing; I'm gonna like it lots, I can tell.

 Update 2 - 7/05/2009

Well. Today had some fun with this PQ today when I got bored. Gonna EFPQ til 50, then go back to LPQ. First time the party disbanded...There goes one fail. Then, everyoen died in the boss stage, except for me. I had that sucker to about 5% left of his HP, then the leader was like "U TAKE 2 LONG" then kicked me, so I got kicked out of the PQ. RAGE. So I can almost say, "At level 46, on a GUNSLINGER, I solo'd Poison Golem!" Oh well. I'm still going to like this PQ I can tell.

 Update 3 - 7/11/2009

Okay. I EFPQ'd until I was level 50, which netted me quite a lot of PQs. I'm at 21/23 with my EFPQ's so far, so I'm roughly 1/4th of the way done with EFPQ, which actually feels pretty good. I plan on getting to 80 PQs completed, then enter/exiting the PQ until I get 100 tries. EFPQ is by far my favorite PQ ever. Too bad I won't be touching it until LPQ is done...That'll motivate me to get LPQ over with.

Only did 1 PQ today with Will. We were gonna do about 5 of them, but then he had to get off. EFPQ is the pineappling shiz. <3

Fun times! I got my set of Altair Earrings, and I got to B Rank! EFPQ Is by far the funnest time I've had in a longgggg time.

Haven't updated in a few days. So. Just did a few EFPQs here and there, and have 38/40. I'm pretty much halfway done to S Rank!

I went on a PQing spree today. I would have gone longer, but nobody was on at midnight...so I stopped. Got my Glittering Altaire Earrings as well.

Started LPQ out today after leveling a lot to prepare for it. Got to level 45 with all the special x2 EXP events. Not bad if I say so myself. Anyways, LPQ is my favorite PQ, and it'll be long to get to the 90 wins...But I'll get there. PQ'd with Sarah, Will, and Erich mostly today. They've been a great help so far in my quest for this medal!

 Update 2 - 7/05/09

Well. HORRIBLE LPQ DAY. I got THREE FAILS IN ONE DAY. Just because I didn't wait for friends. First fail was inevitable had no thieves (lol oopz) and I forced Erich into trying to Corkscrew the Golems (I've seen brawlers do this before). Didn't work out so hot. Then, we got a thief for the next PQ. HE DIED AT THE GOLEMS. He 'forgot' to use Dark Sight? WTP NOOB. Then, the third time, the SAME thief went afk and we couldn't finish. I am starting to hate LPQ when I'm not with friends. V_V Only good thing about it was my fastest time...14 minutes 43 seconds is NOT bad if I say so myself...

Well. As I said, I would EFPQ until I was level 50 (Which I did) before starting to LPQ again. With those 4 fails behind me now, I plan on not failing anymore (Hey, I need to have goals, right?). 10/14 completed; Getting closer to those glasses...

 Update 4 - 7/12/2009

Okay. I was gonna give up on LPQ, until I met someone that is also going for an S Rank. I GOT IN SOOOO MANY PQS WITHOUT FAILING. I was the cause of one of the fails today, though...It was hilarious though. I had used Wings + Recoil to get onto a Ratz plat in stage 7. I killed the rat, and the pass fell off the ledge onto the ground below. THe passes can't be picked up. It was hilarious! xD Anyways. I'm looking at it this way; I've only got 76 more PQs to go, with 4 more failures to go. If I fail more than 4 times, big whoop. I'll get over it and keep going. This person I found is AMAZING at LPQ.

 Update 5 - 7/13/2009

Well now. Didn't do much LPQing except in the morning. Got a few in, no failures. My favorite thing about today was my fastest time. It's PRO; It's not pro...IT'S 1337...Literally.

It looks like you're going for the short ones, but it might be beneficial for you to S rank ludibrium pq so you can simultaneously go for cracked glasses to sell and/or transfer to your main. If the 100 attempts trend keeps up, you'll be able to get a healthy amount of at least two glasses if not three.

How to obtain it: Get S rank for 5 PQs. You can finish it first before talking to the NPC.

Yeah, I was thinking about LPQ. It takes FAR too long though. I still won't ignore it, though. I'm at least going to PQ and get the glasses out of it.

I'd go for CPQ if I were you. It's 200 games, but I got 100+ just getting my Bandit to level 50. I'm also going for a PQ Mania medal, but I'm taking it slowly since I have a lot of things to do on my Corsair.

This seems like it would be really hard to do on an already made character unless they are under level 30. So I guess I'm going to have to get it on another character instead.

Didn't do anything except Kerning PQ Today. ACPQ will wait until after I finish KPQ.

What are the requirements for a goddess wristband? If i attempt the pq medal i'm going to try to get all of the pq equips too, but the wristband is wierd because i can't get it on my outlaw. (yes i have all the quests and stuff done, i finished the pqs and got the feathers before i over leveled)

Yeah, I was concerned about it since 1st place for most games like these only count 1st place as winner, and everything else the loser.

Oh, and it's not nearly as impossible as you make it out to be. Just keep going at it and you'll make it. But then again, this is coming from a person whose last serious PQ spree was LPQ and it was always crowded o.O

I wouldn't recommend trying to get an S rank on Ellin Forest PQ. Yes, it may be fast, but it drains so much money out of you. My cousin has both sets of earrings and has done the PQ 55 times successfully and she's going poor. X_x

I'm going for this medal as well, and i would much prefer speed over saving money.

I'm actually S-ranking KPQ, Ariant PQ, CPQ, EFPQ, and PPQ. I'll LPQ for the glasses, But i don't feel like wasting too much time there. Another roadblock for myself is that, I'm in YelLolnde. Nobody PQs, They just BF leech.

Yeah...I was just looking that up. I need to re-evaluate that. I may switch to Magatia PQ, or I may just go with lolCarnival PQ and invest 33 and a half hours into it @_@
