Take a mini Maplestory Break - Summer x2 Event

Probably not even going to train during these 2x events... Kind of had enough training during last patch, don't need more 2x for now. >_> I did quests during today's 2x exp events on my Outlaw. f3

FML for using a Family 2x EXP during one of the 2x EXP Mini Breaks...

Take a break from school, work, and grinding. So finally they admit grinding's a second damn job.

Now if we had Knights of Cygnus ALREADY... then this 2x exp would have been usefull... -.-

I'm not really gonna -actively- train anymore beyond lvl 150 because even with 4.44x exp rates it's FRICKIN BORING, because I'm soloing and not leeching my ass off...

And besides that... why would I train... I can survive every boss in this game, and I think HT and PB are retarded bosses anyway...
So... end lvl 15x-ish... a nice 15watt bonus for my Cygnus... WHICH WE DONT HAVE DAMMIT... -.-

But I guess this is one more event to get Nexon a LOT of cash from the leechers wanting to get to lvl200... to quit 2 weeks after because they think maple is so boring at lvl 200... :')

Really... we should have had KoC by now... so people have something to lvlup... or should have been given the chance to get 2 (or more) Cygus characters to lvlup in summer...

KoC would be nice. Then new players can actually get to a reasonable level without wasting a whole year. And afterwards they'll be encouraged to play a stronger character. Maybe ms will finally have new players that don't stop after level 30.

Don't get me wrong, they look awesome and I'll probably make one for fun...
But, cmon, a totally new class, based on the best skills of the current 5 jobs?
Seems like Nexon just ran out of ideas with this one... no?

I'm not gonna bother with this 2x EXP event, because you have to deal with nabs that KS you if they cannot find a different training area/channel. If asked politely, they'll ignore you and tell you to "ccplz." EVEN if you tell them you were here first! Seriously, they really piss me off.

For instance, I got KS'd 2 times by a Priest (AKA D0NALD). Last saturday, I was training at Hime with a Priest, and then suddenly, D0NALD came in with a CB. We asked them politely to change channels, yet they can't leave. And on Sunday, I was KS'd. This time, he has a crusader with him. I asked him politely, and he refused and tells me to "ccplz." I told him I was here first, yet, he claims that I wasn't. He lies to me. I was extremely angry. Later on, 2 Bishops jumped on D0NALD for KSing me. After the long KSing, D0NALD was finally forced to leave the map, so I can have even more EXP.

Seriously! I hate those immature people that KS me and won't leave like I asked them to.

When I can take advantage of the 2X, I'm bringing my AM to Windraiders to prevent KSing. Also, where is a good place for a 7x CB to train besides windraiders, with no ME until 78?

Edit: I think Cygnus is more for new players than current ones. It's MapleStory on "Easy," so new people can start the game more easily.

Well I'm making a KoC for FUN... Don't forget KoC have their own original skills to play with, so no I dont think they're unoriginal at all!

That's pretty much the point. Nobody's going to seriously make a Cygnus and quit their mains for it; they just want to experience a new class without having to go through the trouble of gaining 150 levels. As for the hardcore grinders, if it's not the experience of a different class they'll be looking forward to, it's the passive 12 ATK gained from leveling a Cygnus.

Nobody's going to seriously make a Cygnus and quit their mains for it; they just want to experience a new class without having to go through the trouble of gaining 150 levels. And accuracy and avoid. 12 of each is a lot for a warrior.

this patch had 2 things:
time temple - to access all of it you have to do countless quests that take forever
agent events - spend as much time as you can on ms to have a chance at 1 cool thing!

now an event to try to get us playing even longer! nexon is shamelessly begging us to stay online. ill take a break, thanks.
