I partly agree here... Because the older X (and note, I said 'X', and not 'MegaMan') games were considered to be 'too easy' with armor-upgrades and etc, they made the newer games much more difficult, but they got a bit sloppy with their songs, imo.

In Megaman ZX Advent, the bosses are 'significantly' harder, even in normal-mode. The very first boss in ZX Advent can not be beaten in a single try for a gamer that just started ZXA on Normal Mode. It's just impossible. I've known no one that did.

On Expert-mode on ZXA, they limit you to only '1' Health upgrade + '1' Energy upgrade, and you can only obtain 1 single subtank throughout the entire game. Not sure if you do less damage to bosses, or if bosses will do more damage to you on this mode vs normal-mode though, I have yet to play Expert Mode.

Newer gen. MegaMan games also includes sidequests and missions, so that it's not just a 45-minute boss-raid/rush anymore. I mean, anyone can just rush in on Chill Penguin, grab the shoes-upgrade and speed through every single level like mad.. Now you can't do that in the newer games, because there's actually a storyline you have to read, eh. Capcom did it so people paid what the game was worth, and not to just buy a MegaMan game and heaving beaten it in less than 50 minutes.

Games = significant harder
Music / soundtracks = Got a bit boring (in ZX + ZXA), not as awesome as X5, for example. Then again, it is on a handheld console..

As much as I hate anything ...FF-related (So OU..), the remix version that's more Metal-sounding is definitely by far, better. I only happen to know this song because of it's remix, since I listen to 'SSH'.
