Anyway, after seeing Arans I can't wait until they come here.

Sorry, did it so people could see what I was referring to without going back to page 1. I'll spoiler it.

I understand that, but again, if you're killing them too fast to make a combo, it's a moot point - you don't need those skills at that point to kill quickly. It may be a bit boring, but that doesn't stop mages from spamming ults.

They do different things, like the pole arm throwing skill is really useful cause it does very high damage and it's a long ranged attack, so I can usually wipe out every monster on the platform with one hit from it.
Well if you want a 200 attack polearm to make it boring as hell be my guest, but in that case you should probably just go play a DK because you've completed defeated the entire point of making an Aran.

More info on the new stuff taken from Spadow's Blog :
•Combo Tempest & Combo Barrier (Aegis Shield) only requires 200 combo counts instead of 300.
•Combo Drain: % of the damage you absorb has been reduced. (from 8% to 4%)
•Combo Smash: Damage reduced.
•Combo Peril: Damage increased
•Combo Tempest: Number of attacks reduced. (from 3 to 2)
It will be easy to identify your Aran character as it will have this image behind your character.

Lol, I'd personally love the combo system and whatnot. I was simply suggesting that having a higher attack weapon wouldn't necessarily make the game harder as an Aran. I understand that without combos they are a lowHP, glorified warrior. Purposely weakening yourself by using a clean weapon, however, isn't going to be beneficial like people think it will. A 60%'d weapon will still require enough hits to kill something that you'll be able to combo easily unless you're extremely high leveled. At worst, you'd have to slowly downgrade equips as you leveled, and use a godly PA at bosses.

Those Aran Class pics make me wish they made White for a Hair Color.
It's possible right? They made White Eyes after 3 years.... :f6:
@the new skin tone- Looks like they got frostbite for staying in ice too long. Tan with a hint of blueish purple....

I believe, in theory, that this could be correct. You'd lose your combo by climbing or going up to a ledge, but you can keep it with going down by down-jumping and attacking in mid-air. And even if you kill them in 1 hit, you don't HAVE to do over-swing and full-swing (The 2nd attack for the 2nd and 3rd hit, if I remembered the skill names right.) and go straight to the mini-rush attack, so you can still catch up to monsters that are far away.
Of course, this is all theory, and I can also see Isaac's point, because if you work up enough of a combo, I think it was 30 or 50, you can use tempest to wipe out the entire row. (I'm interested if this goes to the end of the screen or not... If it does, this would be godly for himes training.) So we won't REALLY know what's best until Aran comes out and we test out different methods.
Also, I love the new medals. Exploring seems like a good and easy thing to do for some titles.
Unfortunately, this will be better for some classes. Namely, those with dark sight. I think I'll get mad after seeing every level 20 or so thief type class have the medal that gives 400 hp.
And yay for the conspicuous "4th job advancement or above?" :f6:

Indeed, it is long overdue, considering the other medals are very low-level oriented and kindof shaft 4th jobbers.

Maybe I'm missing sarcasm. But to be clear, look again. "4th job advancement or ABOVE." The thought scares me a little... no, a lot.

They mean above in reference to lv 120, I'd assume. But who knows O.o

So what does "Freedom" mean on the Race/Faction Selection.
Seeing how Aran has a Freedom of 1... while Adventurers (obviously being the highest due to their name) have 3... what exactly would this hinder?
Also, a Growth of 1 could also be Higher EXP requirement per level up. A completely different EXP table so to say...

Well, presumably if you're playing kMS, you'd be korean, so you wouldn't really need a different skin tone of your pixelated self to match that of your own in real life.

I'm assuming it's 1 because:
(a) no class choices
(b) no weapon choices
