This is interesting; to say the least.

And I also like Lienne's background music!

I wonder how Arans and Lienne will turn out...

Interesting. So the arans are like Canadians? They look like eskimos

Maybe Arans could have white default hair,

like those pesky knights get blue eyes.

I always get scared when I see blue eyes in my cave.Frown

oh ho ho.

They've been trapped in ice for so long, logically, their skin should be blue.

Logically.

Wow, this looks really cool.
One more NPC to add though.

The guy on the right looks like Jack from the Nautilus, except with facial hair.

yeah I was thinking the blue skin tone would work well here, seems odd to me they'd have tan but what the hell, why not.

Well, Ice can burn your skin too, so maybe that's the reason of they tanned skin :f6:

Is there any way to watch the Aran intro?

I have some pics for you of the completed Aran Character Creation.
completed Aran in the Race Select, with the Difficulty rankings.

Aran Character Creation. It looks... like a different skin tone. Like a new one? not the regular tan. I don't know, maybe it is, I'm not familiar with tan characters.
May change hair and face types, but not hair color or eye color.

Wolf NPC is in Lith. No Lienne in game yet as you know.

So it looks like Aran is only pole-arms, huh? That's a shame.

Thanks for the link.

I was thinking just now how aran is gonna be so inappropiate for damage whores since they work better with a low damage (so they can do longer combos to use many skills). Maybe they'll be even using clean weapons. what you think? Tongue

No they won't, a faster kill is a faster kill. If you can kill quickly without having to use the high-combo skills, then you're fine O.o

I just edited in some translated information to the first post. The translator asked to remain anonymous.
The 400 HP medal looks to be quite easy to get, I am REALLY excited for that to get to GMS, more than Time Temple or Cygnus or anything else. xD

false. If you kill them slowly then they will begin to respawn before the full mob dies, allowing you to continuously attack. Additionally, the higher the combo gets, the more your damage goes up, so in effect keeping the combo going actually helps.

But if the purpose of keeping your combo up is to do more damage, you'd eventually outpace yourself anyway. If you can do this without the need to combo, you're training faster.

That medal case really freaks me out, 'cause I have been saying I wished they'd do EXACTLY THAT for the last few months, and even actually just said it to Fiel last night. It also makes me very excited.

Yeah, I spoilered it, what are you going to do aboot it? Hehe, aboot...

How to get Medals, anonymously translated info from Insoya

New BGMs: http://www.sendspace.com/file/jxfoqu[/spoiler]
The 400 hp medal requires you to be able to access Chimera's map. So some Magatia quests required as well. Just thought I'd note that. Also, why can't they make a UI for event items? They take up a lot of space and aren't really...beneficial...@below, freedom 1 implies no weapon choices at all. Yay for pure PA Arans.

The purpose is that having a higher combo unlocks more skills. If you can't get your combo over 30 you're never going to be able to use any of your skills.
