Stories of Satisfaction?

Any pirates out there have any stories they care to share about their exploits in the wonderful world of maple with their newest Class where it surprised you or made you really happy that you picked a pirate? Heres a little story which reassured my faith in picking a Corsair.

So I just finished one of the best Zakum runs ive ever had, heres the run down. Going with just a few guildies and some buyers, had some regular attackers bunch of 15X's and first time ever a 165 NL from guild came with us. Now i have been Zakking since mid 14X's and i get 2-3 arm Kill exps and i ave gotten body kill exp EVERY TIME i have gone with these guys. So here i am level 154 now, got all my Main Zakum neccessary skills maxed, Rapid fire, Cannon, Battle ship, mw 20 was there too.

Now this is where the fun starts, for apple hand outs we usually each get 2 apples since we usually just have 1 attacker party, but this time we had 7 or 8 attackers in total so it ended up that everyone got 1 apple except the 165 NL, who ended up getting 2 apples. So we start up the Zak, the NL and the 2 or 3 Heros we have with us apple up and here i am using a lonley little 12 attack pot, so killing killing killing and BaM, i win the first bottom left arm Exp... im liek @_@ wtp... and i ask the NL if he even used the apple yet and he confirms that he has infact used it. So now im all @_@ wow i won that arm off a 165 NL who was using an apple ..... so the other arms get distrubuted thru the Heros and that NL for winners which is normal.

Then we get near the end of the first body and the NL says his first apple ran out so he goes ahead and uses second apple, and 1st body dies so me and one of the other nl's end up using the 1 apple we were given to use. So were killing away ... blah blah till about 25% of 3rd body is dead in which time my apple dies and i end up using a 12 attack pot while the NL is still on his second apple for 4-5 more mins, till his is gone and he goes to a 12 attack pot. Then we get to the end of the 3rd body and i get another unexpected surprise.... BAM i win zakum body exp for dealing most damage, im baffled by this but im utterly elated by the fact i just beat a NL 11 lvls higher who had an apple activated for 8-9 Mins more than i did (due to Alchemist)

Outdamaging a lv 82 "Dexless" hermit at Angry Frankenroid, due to both mobility (Wings off ladder gave me quite a bit of shooting time without summon interference) and raw damage. He was hitting 4-5k crits max, with an average damage per attack of 6-7k (2x 2.5k and 2x 1k), but I was doing 8k constants. This was on a lv 75 Outlaw with no special gear except for a 6 att cape (but only 6 att WG).

i killed a zmm when i was like 40 :X
im so used to worrying about accuracy on a warrior that its really nice to hit a boss so early. i want to hit bigfoot so that when i inevitably want to leech myself i wont need a pg mule.

Did you guys not have SE? Not too surprising then, lol.

I'm just happy to be in the top 250 GMS Pirates even though 90%+ of my exp was gained by soloing or partying without a 4th job mage on 1x. Not really a Pirate-specific thing.

I'd hate to have to burst your bubble, but white exp doesn't mean you did the most damage, just means you got the last hit in. Not sure if that's what your entire story is based on.


But anyway, as a Buccaneer I love being in complete control of when I don't feel like taking damage.

He may have meant they told exp gains, and his was highest.

Everytime I see a 70k on the last hit of Barrage, I'm satisfied

iirc, its last hit AND highest amount total damage dealt.

Mine would be the ability to get 40% an hour at lvl 70. That was easily the highest exp gain ive ever gotten on 1x, and this was even before the EXP table changes.....AND its while on pineapply dial up internet conect

I've gotten white exp on Zakum. No way in hell a 14x PA DrK non-appled outdamaged an Appling Spear of comparable level and a couple NLs.

I know how to get on top of the ticket booth in Orbis. And I'm a fking warrior!

Seeing 50k SE crits with level 1 barrage, and being able to take down basically whatever boss i want.

SE + Barrage + stun = WIN

I've never seen such large numbers in my life. It takes me fewer pots and fewer seconds to kill flippin' newties than on my Bowmaster (not to mention i love being able to tank a couple of hits before having to pot )

Being able to solo himes without using any hp pots at level 95. =)

Feeling stronger than my 123 NL at lvl 114 makes me happy enough
And everytime I think that I need 6 lvls for 4th job I get happy... but that's not pirate specific XD
OH and taking Lat down on 2 mins 8 seconds, when a 125 Shadower friend took it on 2.12 makes me happy!!!
