What to stock up on?

Well, considering the effects to the economy, I think you can still make a pretty penny if you hoard some ores/jewels.

Well, got quite a few dimonds so far but im kinda low on saphires. Wheres the best place to get them from?

Since most mages are either too rich to care or oblivious to maker, you can probably just buy them at Harps. You can either buy them, ask them, or just loot there (which is incidentally crazy good money for someone strapped on cash). Sapphires are rather common there, as are power crystals, which are both major money makers.

cool, thanks. And ive noticed that people are finding out about this. Went to the APQ area the other day and people have started asking why I need them and a few have been asking for black crystals. One was even about to trade me but he was like "oh wait, i forgot. Need to save these for the maker skill"

Yeah, for the bishops out there, Harps is a great place to farm for Maker. They drop sapphires, powers, and wisdoms, as well as adamantium I think, and once I have 12k Magic Seeds or w/e is below 18k, I'll start saving the etcs to make Monster Crystals with. The amount of etcs you get is truly insane, 400 or more in like 20 minutes on double drop. I'm trying to do at least 15 minutes on family double drop there every day, and I might buy a double drop card and no-life all 4 hours there soon. =) It's also 12%/hour for me, about the same as Himes with less pot burnage.

I have enough Adamantium, though. I bought 100 plates for cheap and I'm not really trying to get more. I've heard it's not the best investment, I just wanted it for my own use. =)

Everyone says that armor is worse than weapons to forge, but for LUK mages, it's completely the opposite. Maker'ing a Phoenix Wand, for example, still can't really come close to a good Doomsday, plus the Doomsday adds HP. Putting more INT/LUK on my gloves, shoes, and clean overall, on the other hand... with scrolled gloves and overalls so expensive, and shoes unable to be scrolled for INT/MATK/LUK at all... That's pretty much the best and cheapest upgrade I'll have ever made.

This. I bought ~100 diamonds for under a dollar in the MTS a while back, and while I'm not gonna make as much as some of you guys, if they're even close to 1m each... that's an amazing amount of money for me.

I've gotten 100 power crystal ores for 221 nx (22.2 cents) twice, and several times gotten 100 for 1200 or less through several deals. While it may seem pricey, figure that that is 5-6m for 10 crystals, which, if they sell 1m each minimum, is profit.

I bought quite a few hundreds of power crystal ores at 80k each , which is the most I'd pay for.
I would only earn if I get an advanced crystal from the appraising. (Having a hard time clearing out my basic crystals )
Black crystals aren't that much in demand as well , I've seen refined ones at
500k each and no one buying them . D:

Black crystals are expensive here because you need 100 refined to make Balanced Furies. So note - if you get CWK, hoarde black crystals.
