Is it a must-do quest to level your Maker Skill, or is it just a side quest? I do NOT want to visit Nath after my Ellinia>Leafre>Orbis>Ariant>Orbis>Ariant adventure this morning that took me more than an hour. If not for Maker, I would never have done it

Apparently, Meren is dying to know the secret of gordons perfection.. And when you do this quest, you are not supposed to tell meren you found out the secret. I guess it is important.

And whats with maker and jr. yeti skins ??

I did the quest blah blah.. Talked to meren and he asked me to meet gordon, gordon asks for jr. yeti skins, and ironically, yeti skins can also create a basic monster crystal which is needed for merens partners quest. Keols orders also asks for yeti skins in order to make a pair of kids shoes.


And ill find sometime to get online and add you.

I am now officially pissed with Maker.

To level it to level 2, you have to get a "Intermediate Monster Crystal". I didn't know if it was grade A, B, or C, so I checked SP and got the answer: C. To get C you have to get ETCs from a monster from level 71~80. So I went to hunt Homunscullus(not sure 'bout its name), it was level 73, forged a monster crystal... And I got a grade 2(B). ITS DESCRIPTION READ LEVEL 81~90. I was so pineappling pissed when I saw that, I gave up on Maker for the moment, and went to Elin.

Elin was totally NOT what I had expected. Like Singapore/Malaysia, it was just map after map after map, no crossroads (only at 1 point of time) at all. Sure, there were platforms here and there, but to access the next portal, you just had to hold down the < key. Boring. The only thing great about Elin is the town itself, you get to see the Grendel's Library, and stuff. There was also this really hilarious NPC:

From the PP forums. I lol'd. Global players, it's a reference to Dances with Balrog, the warrior instructor. He's called Sitting Bull over there, I think. And yet another thing about Elin: ZERO QUESTS. I'm disappointed.

About the Item Maker quest...
I completed it by disasembling a kage I hunted long ago lol, it gave me like 7 of the crystals

About Elin Forest...
Its totally bugged, there are only 2 npcs working, the merchant and PQ NPC. Every single other npc will not talk

About creating monster crystal using Maker skill,
it has a smaller percentage creating a higher grade
crystal than it normally does.
Like you said, you want Inter Grade C crystal,
but instead it gives Inter Grade B.
Just hunt for another 100 etc and do it again.

Spawn rate in Mini Dungeons is reduced.
If you spam your skill while standing still or hanging on rope,
after 10+ times the skill won't work anymore.
You need to move around a bit before you can use it again.
