This is ingenious. I remember I sent a ticket to Nexon (Of America.) about a month ago, stating that they should do dual-languages and remove the I.P. barrier, and they'd get more business. Hopefully they'll read it, and then see what MSEA (AsiaSoft.) is doing, and decide to at least follow the example set.
Though my idea was more along the lines of servers being dual-language, not separate languages like this. Otherwise we'll have everyone split. Just make sure the servers support both languages, and maybe put in a translator feature. (Though hopefully not as god-awful as FFXI's is.)
I've learned something very important from reading the last few pages of this thread.
MSEA players are far more forgiving of asiasoft than we are of Nexon. Almost everyone who plays MSEA is vehemently standing up for them whenever Combattente says it's buggy (which obviously it is, there's no denying that.)
If we had a patch this buggy everyone would be getting their torches and pitchforks ready.
Also that MSEA players all impatient toddlers apparently, haha.

I pretty much agree. Global players are so much worse though.

Right now, and on this forum, probably.
Before this point, especially on the AsiaSoft forums and especially during the mass MSEA hacking incidents, they were the most unforgiving group of people I have ever seen on the internet.
The MSEA players on this forum don't show it now, but back on the AsiaSoft forum during the past few days, I saw quite a few MSEA players that were convinced that something will go horribly wrong.

Well if you have a host that delays almost every single patch, rolls back the game once in a while, and allows china hackers to enter our game, you will scream too.

The question is does AsiaSoft fix the bugs faster than Nexon? That would make all the difference. Ending the hackers, fixing bugs, and putting out content faster would make me look at GMS and realize we have it good, if I was on MSEA and that was the case.

Indeed. I've been posting at the AsiaSoft forums for about eight months now, mostly in Pega's prediction threads and Conserver's KoC thread. I don't dare post anywhere else.
My point is that the posts on this forum are not an accurate representation of the MSEA community at all.

Last year, GMS was without doubt better in terms of fixing bugs and dealing with hackers.
The mass MSEA account hacking incident last year? From what I remember, it started sometime in June/July and AsiaSoft finally managed to end it sometime in November/December. AsiaSoft's handling of it was absolutely horrid when it began. Mass hysteria during my first few months on their forum.
This year, so far... The usual routine has been screwed over to the point in which I can't really say anything about either version in terms of content. It's funny though, as when CWKPQ was released and the 10 ATK necklace revealed, the MSEA community's reaction to that was about the same as our current reaction to MSEA Episode 2.
Both sides are probably about equal in terms of fixing bugs so far (although I'd personally take a few points away from Nexon for that misleading Soul Arrow thing), and while MSEA did have what appeared to be another mass hacking incident about a month or two ago, it was stomped on quickly compared to last year.

Both gMS and maplesea players have a right to be angry when Nexon screws things up. Nexon is a professional gaming company, and to be doing a worse job than what high school or college students could be doing is just lame.
