Will The Real GMs please stand up?



Versal MGs are invading the world of MapleStory! For two days, these MisGuiders will be taking the MapleStory servers by storm, and it’s your job to pick them out from the real GMs!

It won’t be easy, though. These MGs have raided our wardrobe, compromised our cosmetics, and even sifted through our skin care products! Why, the look almost identical to the real GMs! The horror!

Check the schedule below and get your screenshot button ready. When the time comes, a gaggle of GMs will greet you in various locations, with one Versal GM amongst them! Which one’s the MisGuider? With a keen eye, you will be able to see that the fake GM is slightly different…

Keep tabs on the Versal MG when the group splits up, follow the Versal MG and snap a screenshot of them by theirself. When the time comes, we’ll set up a thread for posting your screenshots. Each player that posts a valid picture of the MG will get the chance to win a fabulous prize!

lol this is a pretty clever event. Seems like a bit more fun than the normal jump quests to "reach the GM first" or "which team can hit the most coconuts"

It could be the third one, the knuckle is a bit distorted. But the first one is good guess too

O.o I'm not sure if any of those are supposed to be fake. I hope so, though. I mean the wings actually look like that in the third frame of the sprite. If its that easy, then we gonna be just fine with this event.

What you are saying about the wings is just the animation moving. The GM symbols wings flap around.

All of the other distortions are from the character movement frames.

I honestly don't think there is any difference, just maybe a difference in their IGNs.

Rofl, you guys are looking at it too hard. It's the first one. Notice the arches on "GM" above his head are WAY higher than the other two.

Probably more in the style of AraitMG, since so far all NPC's/monsters from Versal had their whole name backwards. Not really much of a difference in the example, except the 3rd one's fist is a bit different. The GM wings are all the same, they just took a different part of the animation on the 1st one.

You don't get it, the GM symbol has frames and moves. That is just a different frame.

Sure are pumping Versal lately. hope that's a good sign.

And from this comes an obvious question: what's going to be released first - Versal or Krakia?

Most likely Krakia, but seeing how they're pumping Versal.. you never know.
