[MSEA] Patch V0.72: Maple Episode 2

Please be informed that there will be a Game Client Patch and Cash Shop Update for MapleSEA on the 20th May 2009, from 0930hrs to 1300hrs (+8 GMT). The Game Service will be down during this period. Kindly logout before this time to avoid any loss of items.

The upcoming patch includes:

It seems that they skipped V0.71. (Probably the testing phase for the programmers to reduce the number of bugs)

What are they trying to do by releasing content so quickly? It's kind of an overload. When they do all this they'll be nearly current with KMS, but then they'll have nothing else to give besides world tour. And then what? By releasing content faster than the original version you're only ruining it in the long run.

Like I mention before, there must be a reason why they skipped a version (from 0.70 to 0.72). Probably prior patching/testing has already been carried out to ensure smoother patching on the day itself.

World Tour Maps, including Masteria, can already sustain us for like 8 months' worth of patch, (Thai Golden Temple, Japan Kaede Castle, Taiwan Night Market and Xi Men Ding, China Shaolin Temple, Global CWK and etc). By then, much more stuff from KMS will already be generated, so there will never be worry for lack of content to update.

I'd still prefer gettin this stuff one at a time. First I can go through and dominate the Time Temple, then the next month I can do the Mu Lung Temple.

Besides, I highly doubt you'll get actual content for the next few months after this.

I guess they want to cater to everyone in this patch.

That's why just Elin Forest was released with it in KMS.

Besides, people below 70 couldn't enjoy the 4th job and Leafre patch. Most new content is for 2nd-third job anyways, 4th jobbers deserve new stuff too >_>

And like what I stated before, while KMS "creates" new content, we can get World Tour maps from other areas. There is really no limit actually, as even as KMS creates original content, more versions are expanding their existing WT maps. (Neo Tokyo - 4th expansion of JMS exclusive area already)

Guys I think you people are being a lil too optimistic here. GMS has not been hinting what sea is getting. Sure the summer pathches are coming but MSSEA is the more perfect english MS and I think we just need to accept our inferiority and try to keep our hype down because in the end I have a feeling GMS is gonna be disappointed like they always have? Does anyone remember SHOWA? And the SHOWA gm smega? I dont think you do. I highly doubt we gonna catch up to MSSEA in the next few patches, and if we do MSSEA will still be ahead of us , especially with the 1.25x exp and especially with all the high level people. In the end we are not worthy.

And if we do get all this content I highly doubt its gonna be as smooth as MSSEA. We had CPTLatanica glitch and other gameplay related glitches for a long time before they were fixed.

Not really, but I know someone one on my msn contacts that doesnt lag at maple sea.

I don't see how episode 2 is episode 2? isn't it just like one major patch, and then they change the name to the game?

Anyways I'm expecting GMS to get these during the summer probably starting off with ellin and ending off the year with Cygnus.

We have the box event for equipment, and we in general are more about damage and efficiency.

What the hell. I'm completely knocked off my feet. I was thinking they'd get this a few months down the road. But seriously, I want a fucking huge update like this.

Cmon guys =3 Can't complain since we got the KMS updates......unless they get it too...bu then we still have our naricain ^o^
