Banned for Misconduct?

This may sound snarky, but at least they have given you the opportunity, beforehand, to select a new name for your character. Many people have simply logged in after a server maintenance to find that their character has been renamed. I know you won't be really happy about it, but you have the chance now to pick some name you could live with, rather than having to request—after the fact—that they undo the damage.

Having said that, I do agree that their action is unfair. There are characters I can point to right now with far worse names (Tvvatsickle, anyone?) but they somehow decided to get you instead. I hope you and they manage to agree on some new name that doesn't suck.

Next thing you know they will rename me for having a ign after a non-existent anymore band, which their website just says "mission accomplished".
