New EXP tables.
#1
So it's not really 1.25 monster exp rate...but more like we got a reduced requirement for exp table. I needed over 300 mil EXP to level, but now only 248 mil. <3

I think the new exp required to level is about 80% of the old one.

310 mil * 80% = 248 mil. :O

what about 75% for over 30 and 50% for under 31? Wink

You're still 99.98%

I checked your rankings, they shrinked your max current exp to meet the new exp table.

As soon as you kill something you'll level. The same thing happened to me.

Well, I was like 73%... And now I'm 97%. I think it's that 75%.

Didn't level before the check, though :p

Not WAY easy, especially at really high levels
But a little easier and a bit less time consuming. o Uo

And they're gonna change it back after the anniversary stuff I think.

Fixed? It's not broken. It's intentional. They specifically stated they were doing this.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

I actually hope it's here to stay. It does make the game that much more enjoyable.

Until everyone and his mom got a level 200 Bishop.

Nexon shouldn't make this eternal, would make our current chars lose so much value.

No different than when 2x exp cards were implemented.

I don't think Nexon can just decrease the EXP TNL and simple revert, could they?

Besides, I'd like this change, because it'll encourage more leveling. When it becomes less of a pain to get to the next level, more people will stay. It'll STILL take years of playing for the average Mapler to get to 200. The only ones who are going emo about this are the high levelers who will cry that they spent more time to level to where they were, or masochists. Frown

I mean seriously, WoW had cut down the experience curve from levels 1-60, and 60-70 because they WANTED to make it easier to level. That meant they made it easier for EVERYONE to level, TWICE. Did that made WoW lose customers? Let WoW's 11 PAYING million customers speak for itself. Hell, I didn't peach one single bit when they did the change. You know what I thought when I found out they made it easier to level? I leveled another character. That's right, I stayed longer because I had TWO level 70 characters instead of 1. Blizzard essentially encouraged me to play more because it got easier to level. Rolleyes

They have done this as TT now would be too soon, so they have put it back.

They have still made this one good just by simply doing the x2 events and increasing the exp to 1.25x (so more people can level up, ready for TT and so on)

Thats making clear sense to me o.o quite simple, shouting it out Tongue

Yeah Blizzard has the right idea. If it was a lot easier to get a char to 200 I'd definitely be playing more as I'd like to get 4-5 classes there...as it is, its going to take me 10 more years playing the way I do to get my MM to 200...if I hang around that long and not get driven away by the ridiculous EXP curve. .Rolleyes
