ok so i read about pierce being fixed and i went to try it out, first skeles and i didnt dc. then i used an apple and BAM dc.
of course i keept piercing stuff non appled and i didnt dc anymore. i went to rashes a few mins ago and did some tests, i saw as high as 146 for sure, prob a 149. most def we can hit over 100k without dc now.
my pierce is lv 27, ill max it soon and i will test later with ciders see if i can hit over 150k. i saw a 190k with the apple then i dced.
we might have a new cap, ill try to find what iit is, so far i can tell its a number between 146k and 190k. more results later, any help and imput would be apreciated.

very well, i found it. the new dmg cap for pierce is 150k, sounds nice,but i just hit it 2ce at 172 with a warrior elixer and lv 27 pierce on weak monsters. if i max it next lv i am sure ill be able to hit it on skeles.
nice try nexon, now make the caplike 400k so i marksmen dont dc ever again.

Makes me wonder, did the cap on other skills increase too (like ME? or for me in Tespia, Brandish xD)

Is critical really that effective for Pierce? I mean i see about a 90k difference in damage there.
I think pierce is like 900% damage? So a critical would just make it 1000% (1040% with SE)
Correct me if im wrong

This is good to hear, but I think the new cap is something that's been in place in other versions. They never had this problem because, well... we invented Apples. I doubt anything will be done about it if we don't bring it to their attention.

pierce dmg increases as it goes trough monsters. i am not sure what the increase is, but on the 1st monster i seen 55-60ks top and the 6th i am sure of a 146k perhaps more.
edit a 19x MM doing 170k pierce in sea, the guy is 200 now
kinda small but you see the dmg

1140% with SE, 2663% on the sixth Monster compared to 1869% non-critical.

You seem to be confused as to how SE adds to Crit.
Strafe is 100%
With Crit it's 200%
With Max SE it's 340%
SE adds: 1xx%+Crit%+Skill%. XX = SE%
Pierce also adds per monster. I'm unsure what the exact number is, but it's either 1.18, or it's the opposite of the new IA, being 1.1. Although I doubt that =P

wow... they raised it only 50k? 0_o
they could have made it any number really and they put it up only 50k?
Why not make it even -er and make it like 200k or 300k even... but only 150k as damage cap? 0_o I wanna see your damage mr. xbish when you level and mass dc at skeles xD

What the pink bean do they need a damage cap for anyway?
It's not like hacked damage would do any good at anything except bosses. And in that case, I'm sure they could devise something other than this.

Well it's certainly progress. But maybe it's all we'll get. I betcha if we bring it up to them they'll be all "We just helped you, stop whining." They gave us the skills, why do they not let us use them how they were meant to be used? Lets press forward, log more tickets than we did before. They'll answer us eventually and fix this one and for all.

I saw that pic ages ago.
If he can hit 170k without an Apple then Nexon needs to raise the damage cap for Pierce in GMS to 400-500k lol

now if only they could remove that 99,999 damage limit.... Imagine how endlessly strong people could be!! lvl 200 hero with max combo orbs + apple doing panic... man that'd be like 200k +.... orrrrrrrrrrrrr maybeeeeeeeee having a godly shadower will fully charged assassinate + apple = 250k + 250k + 250k + 350k? oO
