Booster increases Speed by 2.
Wind Booster 1-10 increases Speed by 1.
Wind Booster 11+ increases Speed by 2.
The average Buccaneer has a weapon that's a speed of 5. With booster, it will bring it down to 3. With Wind Booster 1-10, it brings our speed down to 2. With Wind Booster 11+, it remains at 2, it doesn't go down to 1. Thus, people who think getting SI to 11 will increase their attacking speed alone are very mistaken. I never said SI 11 doesn't work period, as I said in my opening post other classes, such as warriors, can get the full boost of the +2 speed. We, as Buccaneers, generally cannot. Thus for personal use, there is no difference from SI 1 to SI 11 other than duration, assuming we're using booster with it.

You're still wrong.
SI 11 does work with Buccs, albeit a very slight change in speed is made. I noticed it all too well, and none of your "hurr hurr wz files speed" will make me think otherwise.

That pretty much contradicts just about every post in this thread, but if you say so. I'm going to completely disregard your opinion in later posts concerning weapon speed, just to note. People in this thread say Speed (1) doesn't exist, or isn't accessable, and I've even tested it. It doesn't seem to change anything (yet?). If you noticed a change in speed from SI 10 to SI 11, then good for you.

Contradictions? What the hell are you on? I don't expect people who have never played a Bucc to be able to understand what I'm saying. If I had access to someone with SI 1 I'd glady prove that Barrage is boosted ever so slightly with SI 11. Therefore it does indeed work on Buccs.
Are you one of those leeched Buccs who never even trained with SI below level 11?

What's with the constant insults? Don't get too caught up in this, it's only a discussion.
Playing a Buccaneer has nothing to do with knowing whether a certain speed exists or not.
If you can get someone who has an SI lower than 11, then I'd gladly accept for you to do an official test and post the results. Being a Buccaneer, I really want to believe SI 11 works completely with our booster.
Another insult? I guess me testing SI 10 and SI 11 goes completely ignored and you just want to throw a leeching accusation at me. I've trained during all of my levels, and I know very well how to use a Buccaneer, Maurader, and Brawler very efficiently. Thus, when I say "I don't see any difference while training", I mean "I don't see any difference while training." Stay on topic and stray away from insults before this gets out of hand.

I've heard from buccs also that SI11 speeds up the delays in Barrage ever so slightly. I'm not a bucc, and cannot comment. This is just what i hear.

Wz files are decent evidence. I'd like to see yours though, since it seems to contradict almost everyone elses' tests, and you're saying your right "just because you say so".
You own a buc. Go play around with it and tell us your results. It's not that hard.

What Opeth is TRYING to say - I think - is that SI11 works with BARRAGE and BARRAGE ONLY. I have level 1 SI so I obviously don't know, but I asked my 15x Bucc friend and he says Barrage is faster with 11 SI.

SI 11 "works" in the sense that it makes a speed difference over no SI at all.
It "doesn't work" in the sense that it does the exact same thing as SI 1, when it's supposed to be 1 atkSpeed level higher.
Thanks for the information. I've been going around saying "we think" it's capped at 2. Hearsay everywhere.
Zenkat: Spamming delays are fixed and independent of atkSpeed.

Since the release of pirates many people have trained to marauder status. A few months ago a game related limitation was found by those in the community in regards to the skill speed infusion. By it's description, it's supposed to stack with booster and provide an additional +2 speed levels onto the weapon the user is holding. Knuckle®s have a natural speed of fast (5), so with booster that makes it faster (3). With speed infusion at level 1-10 (-1 speed level), that makes it faster (2). Once speed infusion is 11+ however, the speed is increased once again so knuckle®s SHOULD reach fastest (1). Since a few months ago many have rumored that speed infusion DOES NOT affect weapons that should go lower than faster (2), as the game does not physically let them break that cap. This also means that other weapons (Some 1h swords, daggers, claws, and crossbows) become immune to speed infusions effect. This rumor has been confirmed as of today by a buccaneer who tested various skill speeds with level 10, and later level 11 speed infusion.
I know for a fact that other maple versions, as well as GMS beta allowed for the speed cap to be broken, but for a reason left for speculation by the community, GMS does not at this time.
Is this a bug that should be fixed, or is making speed infusion inherently useless past level 1 to the class who receives it the intended effect?

Nexon CS doesn't understand a word you said. You'd have to reach the people that actually work on the game itself somehow.
@Xephia: That's only tested with Flash Fists. Not entirely conclusive. Double Shot for Gunslingers is the same speed from Fast (5) to Fast (4), but there is a clear difference for something like Cannon going from Fast (5) to Fast (4). I'd test it with every skill first. Opeth may be right about Barrage.
