Secret Quest reward?

I gave him 1002.

He seemed very pleased



and gave me 60% overall for dex, 50 power elixirs, and 54k exp.



As an aside, while getting all that, I only managed to find ONE Sr. Bellflower card for my Monster Book.

i did the quest today and turned in 1000 bellflower roots... i dont know if the 60% overall dex is worth the time it takes =\
but the blueprint one is nice, only took me like 20 mins to get it and i got some cards on the way.

Anyone willing to test if you get anything else when you turn in 1000+? lol

Mr. Ku in Herb Town, who asked for "as many bellflower roots as you can". You just need 1 for the quest, but I was curious so I hunted up 100.

Sure enough he took them all and upped the reward. Still, he said something like "well, this isn't enough, but it'll have to do". Anyone want to try getting 200/400/1000?

I did 200 and got 50 ice cream pops and 48k exp.

hmmmmm my pirate has both of these quests still to do. I would LOVE to do as many roots as possible, but it would take LOADS of time to get them all. Are they MTS-able? Also, for the blueprint one, does it take more than 1 key chain if you have em? cause id load up on those too

That quest only takes 1 keychain. I had about 200 keychains when I turned in the quest (since it took me a while to find the blueprint) and he only took 1 keychain any my blueprint.

Anyone want to try getting 200/400/1000?

Were those numbers arbitrary at the time of posting? I sorta don't want to end up getting 10k of those things in hopes of something godly, only to have the rewards cap at 1000.

Yeah they were totally random lol. there are several quests that require items in those amounts, so they seemed like logical choices for random testing. Seems to be working out so far lol. I would suggest someone to do numbers less than 1,000 (500 maybe, or 800) to see if they get the same message.

Kimera would have gave me at least thrice the worth of this reward by the time I'd gathered 1000 of those doing "all-chan-boss-raid" (Well mostly also because I seem to be the only one in Kradia that care about Kimera, and i'm not complaining)

and actually that's what I did: got 1 bellflowers to get the quest done and in 4 rounds of all-chan-kimera i got a couple 60 cape scrolls, an overall one and an earring scroll.

a tip, you can talk to to Mr. Ku and click the quest (dont click next cause it will finish it), and then you can see what hes saying (every reward has something different said). so you can get 2000 and see if he still says "oh hohohohoh etc etc", then worst case you can use 1000 and leave 1000 for a mule or something.

Based on the fact that the npc's speech for 1000 did not include any "wish you'd gotten more, but I'll make do with this" subtext, I think 2000 or 10,000 won't get you any better reward than 1000.
However, it is possible that the minimum required for the scroll reward is actually a lot less than 1000.

Actually I've seen the habit of NPCs prematurely causing you to "finish" the quest in the past, so I didn't want to risk that. Thanks for trying it out though =P
