Soooo I was talking to MyBriBri on my khaini mule and she tells me that she went straight for cannon + bullseye. I was thinking about doing the same thing. Maybe throwing in some rapid fire at early levels for just in case. I asked her if it was hard to train, and she tells me that it's really easy since she can 2 hit everything. Makes sense to me. Ship having no minimum range, all you would have to do is freeze and atk. Maybe I can own up all of Scania's anegos  .
I guess i'd be training just like this guy, except i'd be 2 hitting mobs. I don't think i'll end up needing torpedo too much. I haven't gotten to 4th job yet (Should be 4th either during todays 2x or 2morrow), but Im assuming that torpedo will unnecessarily aggro mobs and just cause my ship to break faster. I guess i'll have to test it when I hit 4th.

Are anego's seriously common enough in scania to even consider training on them?
If not anego, the question is where ARE you going to train? The new skele mini dungeon isn't really the best place since you'll get raped without decent torpedo. o_o

how do u think BM's train there? lol. They're using single target attacks as well, except they have minimum range and no ability to freeze. I think i'll be okay lol.

I would think rain would get the job done. Surely hurricane isn't as good as that when fighting a mob of 6. o_o

well i'm gonna have 1 point in torpedo. I just think that having max torpedo will aggro mobs too easily. I'll play with it when I hit fourth and go from there. More likely than not, i'm going for this boss build.

Well i'm not saying don't go for the bossing build, just that you gotta think about what you'll do when you're not bossing, lol. Max torpedo shouldn't aggro mobs. On PSers i was 3hkoing skeles with 21 torpedo and all i had was a 15 att SCG and a 100%ed gun. :/ Knowing how funded you are, aggroing mobs with torpedo shouldn't be a concern at all. Not that you're going to max it until like 15x, but still.

The boss build is a pretty bad way to go. You'll want Torpedo to speed up training. Even Air Strike is a better choice.
UNLESS you really do live in a server where Anego isn't constantly killed by no delayers. Then the boss build is pretty good.

well I don't plan on trainin on anego, but I know i'll be able to rape anegos when I do decide to go. If I can 2 hit skeles with cannon, I still think it'll be pretty easy to train. Torpedo is pretty damn strong though..... You only need what? 2 monsters for torpedo to do the same damage as a cannon shot lol. Mehhhh iono..... I still think i'mma go for the boss build lol. Leave torpedo at lvl 1. I might go for wrath of the octopi after bullseye

Since RF30 is more common, I'm probably going to do Cannon -> Max Rapid -> Max Bullseye -> MW19 -> Max Torpedo -> whatever. I think that's the best balance between bossing and training. Bera is also a crowded server and Anego is killed constantly (legit or hacks  ) and Bigfoot is out of the question. Getting Bullseye right after Cannon really limits your training options.
My original plan was to get 21 Torpedo right after Cannon but that would make me too ship reliant. If we happen to get the KMS updates, maybe I'll do Torpedo right after.

at lvl 120 put 1 point into skills that become useful at lvl 1.
This would be:
1 Elemental Boost
1 BattleShip
1 Torpedo
After that max Cannon.
After maxed Cannon at lvl 130, the best choices would be Bullseye or Rapidfire.
MyBriBri went for Bullseye, because at bosses, Cannon, Bullseye and Burst Fire would be more useful then Cannon, and Rapidfire. And I think she uses her pirate as a CWKPQ mule, and she planned to be the first to solo zakum.
If you don't plan on Bossing much, and your main focus is training, like myself, (loltraining), I would max Rapidfire after Cannon.

Here's some advice:
If you're gonna duo with ultimate at skele mini dungeon, get torpedo
I have level 14 torpedo and still get owned at skele dungeon when duoing. Before my ship lasted over an hr. Now it's like 10~15min or less (Low 15x)
You just get overrun with spawn so much and when your ship breaks, it's really bad. Sometimes I gotta get my friend to kill spawn so i can start over again.

I train at the Skele MD right now and I don't yet have a decent level of Torpedo. It would help, but I'm pumping Air Strike instead. When you 2hko Skeles, you don't need a mob skill that badly. When I come across mobs they tend to be on either side of me rather than in a line I can Torpedo.
I take the 2nd platform from the top and can usually clear out the spawn. When my ship breaks it does suck, but it doesn't break often and I can drop to the mini platforms below and spam FT/Ice and Air Strike to clear out really bad mobs.
Bottom Line: You can train with max Cannon only. Torpedo and Air Strike help speed things up but it's not going to be like you can't train without them.

I'm curious. Do you think its worth it to spend 30SP on a skill you'll only use for 90seconds?

That's a good point, but I'm sure I'll be using it more than Bullseye given how hard it is to find an Anego in Bera.

LOL, I'm not a CWKPQ mule. This is my main and plan on keeping up with it.
Here's was my LOL build:
120 - 1 Wrath 1 Air Strike 1 Elemental Boost
121 - 1 Ship 1 Cannon 1 Torpedo
122-124 - Cannon 10
125-127 - Rapid Fire 9 (because I failed 4 Cannon 20 books  )
128-134 - Cannon 30 Hypnotize 1
135-141 - Bullseye 20 Maple Warrior 1
142-147 - Maple Warrior 19
148-157 - Torpedo 30 Air Strike 2 (or Air Strike 30 Torpedo 2, haven't decided)
155-167 - Airstrike 30/Torpedo 30 Rapid Fire 11
161-170 - Rapid Fire 30 Octo/Elemental Boost/Hypnotize 3
171+ - Whatever is left (probably octo first idk)
The reason I didn't max rapid fire, was pointed out earlier, 90 seconds is not that long. And yes I'm relying on my ship a lot, but that's what a corsair is all about.
I train just fine, usually killing everything in 2 hits. Mobs usually don't get a chance to attack me anyways.
There is no wrong build for corsairs, this is just the one I made up. If you don't like it, just do your own build.
