Unfortunately, your appeal to have your ban lifted sooner than the release date has been denied. Your account will not be released early from its block. Many players believe that this is an error, or that they are the victims of a glitch or bug. I assure you that this is not the case.

Be sure that you are not running any third party programs that enhance your game play. These are known as hacking tools. It is recommended that you do not run any other programs while you are playing MapleStory.

Account holders are required to play by the rules of MapleStory. You may want to review our Terms of Use for any further questions that you may have.

Typical. You'd have to actually submit screenshotted evidence or something in order to prove to nexon that you can lift your ban. Otherwise, they'd be forced to assume that you're just a regular hacker and that the autoban caught you. (Though the autoban never catches the usual hackers lol)

I suggest you try contacting a GM. They'll be more of a help to you than the ticket system.

Well, I'd try to screenshot any event that I take place in: FM findings, MTS searches, Boss Runs, ect.

I take an average of 15 screenshots an hour.

Haha, I got a 1-day ban for no reason once while in town, and they told me the same thing.

I had mIRC, Firefox, Winamp, MSN, and AIM open. I always do. D:

What the hell? They updated their old auto ban reply. They must have gotten sick of copying and pasting the old response.

This is taken from when I was auto-banned for the Hak the Stork glitch, which to my knowledge they never admitted was true or publicly apologized for.

Frankly, it sounds like Nexon is just covering their bases for their extremely flawed auto-banning program in the new response.

There's something you guys need to know/understand.

Nexon doesn't exactly hire the most tech-savvy GMs. If that were the case, GMs wouldn't be paid so poorly.

So chances are the GM dealing with your ticket (and they rush through thousands of these a day: imagine how much they would care) has no idea which program was considered a hacking tool. I doubt they even know how to find out the names of the programs you were running while playing MS. Let's be logical here......that would narrow down the problems by the crapload. Then you could find patterns, and actually unban legit players.

But this is Nexon. That means you are effed.

Well, I heard before when the GM police thing was out it would pop up during angeo and stuff. I heard if you just relog or close the window without pressing ok, nothing happens and you don't get banned.

The thing was, I also remembered the trick to get out of it, just end maplestory.exe's task or shut down your computer. I accidentally pressed ESC. FML.

(And I wish they had a phone number: I mentioned this to my mom, and well, she isn't to happy.)

There are several false-banning threads here and on other sites. I doubt that they are all lying. There is definitely a problem. And Nexon's stock ticket response and unwillingness to believe that they could ever make an error must be extremely frustrating for those banned. It makes one nervous to even log on with a main character that you have spent months or years on.

It looks like a case of be careful what you wish for. Everyone was begging for more hacker bannings, so what do you get? More legit bannings.
