Well as you can see in the new patch notice, if you purchase a safety charm you can automatically
be resurrected with 30% hp/mp. :f6:
Do you think that this means you will be able to be revived in the map? Or be res'd in town with 30%hp/mp?
Personally I think the second one would be rather useless to announce...and useless period. Im hoping for the first one.
I'm sure that they would work at bosses since safety charms have always worked at bosses, but what are your thoughts?
Sucks for bishops right now if its the first choice.

AFAIK, this is different from the local res CS item that KMS and other versions have.

Isn't it like that thing in KMS that revives you on the spot? Or is that a different type of charm?

There's the Wheel of Fate, which revives you where you were (Though it doesn't work everywhere) and the Safety Charm, which prevents you from losing EXP. The Wheel doesn't save your EXP, so you need both really. It's quite a trick they've pulled.

Why sell one item that revives and saves EXP when you can sell two items, one that revives and one that saves EXP? It would be stupid of them to combine it because they make more money with it separate.

not even speaking of the easier way to go: just c/p from the korean version : combining requieres extra work.

If they do this with safety charms they might as well give 30% HP/MP upon any death, no matter if with charm or not..
The only use for this seems to be when you're not spawning back in town, so in a monster map? Can't think of any places like that right now besides the Purple Plains, lols.

30% may be less than the standard/current 50 for some...depending on level/class... take a 3rd job mage and the 30% will put them with LESS HP than before >.< and most mages die/come-to in town with full MP since deaths usually occur when the dmg taken exceeds MP... how many times has an unknowing mage died n yelled-but my MP is full?!?! ...this is just a mage POV btw. silly nexon....

Don't think to hard, it is to be use in conjonction with wheel of fortune, and the update was ready for the safety charm and not yet for wheel of fortune.
I mean it's not because they do an update it was its use ready yet in this very same patch, it was maybe just easier for them to include this change (c/p codes from kMS) than not updating, and they'll deal with wheel of fortune when they find time to do so.

Um, a level 50 mage is way over 500hp. And 30% of 500hp is 150 so.....?

I don't really want the safety charms to revive me back in the map with 30% HP. With 1200 HP I can't survive anything worth a damn and will just die again, unless I get to keep invincibility frame or something.

They, won't this is most likely what will happen (Plus all situations)
- Charms, when you die you won't lose exp, you go back to town with 50 hp and whatever MP you had. You get 50 mp if you had less than that [i think but whatever]
- New charms: Instead of the 50 hp, you get 30% your hp/mp when you go back to town
- Dying without a charm: You get the 50 hp scenario
- Res: Go back into map with full HP
- The new cs item in kms: Works like res except you re-enter the map with no buffs and full hp/mp [or some %]. Does not work in all maps

Doesn't the wheel of fate only work 1 time per day, also, or 1 time per map per day?
If for some odd reason they did make safety charms provide resurrection for GMS, I'm wondering if they included that restriction, or if this means it just got a lot easier to solo because you can infinitely revive yourself.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

It seems you can use it multiple times..
Look at the Phase 6 Pink Been video. Some people managed to respawn in the same map up to like 3-4 times in there.

That's how is.
Old content has to make room for new content. It's a typical "Kids game" syndrome that "new is good" and "old is bad"
It always ends up, in western countries (because it's in those where we dont understand that gametype), that the game will collapse under its own weight.
