Just a Reminder...

Dear Maplers,

Just in case you forgot, we would like to remind you of the minor changes and updates to our payment options, as well as name change/character transfer policies. Please read these carefully:


1) As you know, whenever you make a purchase in the cash shop, you will now be prompted to select one of the now three available payment options - PayPal, Pay by Cash/Nexon Game Card Cash (NX Game Card) and Maple Points.

2) Character Transfers and Name changes may only be purchased with Nexon Game Card Cash. When you hover over the Character Transfer coupon, or Name Change Coupon, it will be noted with a NX symbol, which means, only Nexon Game Cards are accepted for that item. Please note, the token system is no longer in place.

3) Please remember, storage slots are server-specific, not character specific, therefore these slots and any items stored within them will not transfer with the character, but remain on the original server.

It starts. The slow passive route of forcing out non N. American players.
I can see it moving onto other NX features in the future.

At least MTS money counts as gamecard NX, I've done pretty well on buying NX through that method and will probably continue to in the future.

I actually find the game card thing quite irritating, I prefer using paypal rather than going out to a store to buy the same thing... it was a sad discovery when my paypal money couldn't be used on mts

That's because game card NX is apparently less likely to be fraudulent.

At least MTS money counts as gamecard NX, I've done pretty well on buying NX through that method and will probably continue to in the future.

I think we can only use Game Card NX in the MTS to begin with.
