Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse?
#1
I think it will be bad for the lower-levels that aren't strong enough to handle the bosses, because if they are tradable, they can purchase them. If not, they will have to reach a certain level in order to obtain them via PQ. It could be worse, because now HT pendants might increase, along with Naricain pendants?

What's to stop guilds/groups from selling pendants like they do zakum helms?

I can understand why Nexon would make it untradeable, but at the same time, if they wre going to do it, I'd rather they did it right off the bat: Make up their mind and make it either permanently tradeable or permanently untradeable.

Im not really sure what I think of this... Im still trying to figure out my str to use a bow x_X

I can't survive without the pendant, and I can't get the pendant without surviving...

:l I guess it's time to buy HP gear.

Low level and can't handle the boss? Level up until you can :f6:.

Who cares if the pends inflate a bit because they can't be traded.... they're already so damn cheap. Making them untradeable wouldn't effect the price too much since the PQ is so easy.

It won't really affect me, since 90+ pirates are always welcome. :3

People would still "buy" them in the same way people buy Zakum helms nowadays. The only difference between tradable and not-tradable is how annoying it is to get them.

Why would the price of either pendant increase? O.o

The patch is making them untradeable.
"Reward Change: The Mark of Naricain Pendant is no longer tradeable."

I believe it was whether that change for good or bad.

It's good. Why? Why not.

I'd kinda like the extra MP from having 3-4 more int, I've had no luck with Bigfoot's toe.

I can't even play MS until later in April so now I'm screwed for getting a pendant easily >_<

Or you can just pray that we get Karma Scissors soon.

The price should go up since there is only a day or two until they become untradeable.

Great...now they are forcing people to do the PQ if they want a pendant...what fun.

What's so bad about that? Poast
People should earn a pendant instead of being able to buy one.

Well, this is a good thing, yeah, but not for me at this point D:

I was going to buy one the next level... Sad

But with enough time, I'd go do the pq thanks to the extra hp the pendant gives :p

Thing is, if they made it untradable, who the hell dares to say they won't nerf/change bosses' stats? They nerfed Horntail, and etc in kMS. My point being, at the way they're doing things, they could change the stats on the bosses if they want to, if people are obtaining them too easy.

As for other people who says 'Why would the prices change if it'd untradable', one of you said it's more annoying if it is untradable, correct? If it's untradable, the prices will go up, because it is harder to get them now. Instead of just going to ch 1 FM __ to look for one priced at 3X - 5X mil, now you have to either:

a) Pay some fucking guild to 'loot' one (-points to Zhelm + HT pend-)
b) Be with friends to loot one.

Why wouldn't it increase?

Well in my own opinion... If someone gets an item that godly, it shouldn't be purchasable for a mere 20m in the FM. I think items like that should be like a trophy for something that you did.

In theory, it should increase.

The best thing to jam this is what already exists though. Look at zak helms. How much are they now? How much were they a year or two ago?

They'll deflate. Biggrin

I still think the problem is when they make items with level requirements far lower than what it takes to obtain them.

This applies to level 110 weapons, and all the untradeable boss items currently (incl. Bigfoot toe I guess). By the time you can get them, they're hardly trophies, because most people bought them long long ago.

I wouldn't mind waiting to level 130 to get this pendant (it is pretty godly), except it is available at 110 so I want to wear it at that level.
