Neo Tokyo, Elin Forest, and Tonosama
#1
Precisely what are these areas and what makes them good?

And about Tonosama, where is he found? Is it Neo Tokyo?

Tonosama is the Fuedal Lord boss lol.
Neo Tokyo is a Jipang addition that features many high leveled enemies and bosses.
Ellin Forest is Victoria Island's past, it's a medium leveled area in KMS.

What are the chances of us getting this "Feudal" area?

The possibility of GMS getting Kaede Castle (The fuedal area) is very low.
And if they did release it, it'd be changed like Shouwa because it features human enemies with realistic weapons (swords, knives, and throwing stars).

gMS got Showa because another version had already edited a "harmless" version beforehand, and it was easy to just copy the data over. So unless another version edits the "dangerous" stuff from Kaede Castle, I don't think Nexon would go to that much trouble to edit all the mobs and stuff.

Not in the slightest. The version before Showa was released in GMS it was already in the data. The data was of the uncensored Showa. The next patch, they censored it, making themselves do more work.

Darn, Kaede Castle and Tonosama all seemed so awesome, it would have been fun going there.

I gotta do more research on Elin Forest and Neo Tokyo. I've only watched one vid of Elin forest and they look like a bunch of mutated Victoria monsters.

This site actually has some excellent quick info on MapleStory monsters and towns.

Yeah, We won't get an area with human like characters using weapons, because they Grandmasters don't look human and use weapons at all.

No, they just copypasted the censored version from cMS.

That's the only exception in the game... for some peculiar reason.

They try to censor realistic weapons used by realistic mobs. None of the weapons that the grandmasters have are realistic nor are the grandmasters realistic enough for them to censor it.

How would you know if they're censored or not anyway? We're the only version that has it.

After, they already had the real version in the data. I didn't mean to seem as if they did all the work of censoring Showa themselves. Just that, they did more work by replacing something with a copy & paste that they had already copied & pasted.

Since the only things that were graphically changed were monster sprites, it wasn't as though they had to replace all of the Showa data. They definitely knew they were releasing Showa at the time of the unedited data being implemented.
