How did you find maplestory?

How did you find it?
I found it on a ad on IGN a few years ago.

my friend josh showed me it in june 2005.

Friend showed it to me in late beta. Took forever to wait for signups to reopen, heh.

My brother was playing back in summer 2005, so I was like "oh hay, wuts dat" and started playing.

He stopped at like level 30-something. Dx

Friend told me. He posted an image of him killing blue slimes.

It seemed so pro at the time...

I was looking for an MMORPG my (old) computer could take, my friend reccomended MapleStory a long while back, and well, here I am.

I was playing Gunbound (<3 that game, but too much was too much x_X) and people were talking about MapleStory. So when summer rolled around, I decided to try it out to kill the time xD

A friend showed it to me in 2008, before that I heard of Maple Story but never bothered to check it out. RO ftw.

I was at a friend's house and he was playing it. Then I started playing and he quit.

A friend I met through another online game told me about it.

My girlfriend at the time wouldn’t stop nagging me till I downloaded it and signed up.

My best friend told me to play soon before zakum was released, and here I am.

I was told to download it during beta from a friend, but my computer couldn't handle it. Later on, in Dec '06, I found it again. No idea how I did though. :/

AIM chat with a clanmate from Halo 1 on the computer. For some reason though, I couldn't play GMS. I assume that they had a closed beta? So instead, I started in MSEA.

Some real life friends were talking about it in December 2004 so I was like, hey let me get in on this. They've all quit, I'm still playing, lol.

This girl (cinfulgirl or something like that) had a screenshot of jMS on her Neopets profile and it looked interesting.

I saw a bunch of guys at an internet cafe that I frequently go to play MS. Ironically, I may have done the same when it came to several people there beginning to play WoW after seeing myself and someone else play.

I found it through a webcomic. Guess that falls under other.
