Kay, so... What the hell? More back story. This show is boring me at this point - the only thing that keeps me watching is Felli and the almost yuri scenes.

Ah my favorite yuri couple still manage to put a smile on my face even though nothing really happened. This show is so cute it is almost sickening >_>.

Anyway, one more episode to go and regardless of how that goes, I DEMAND a second season, this show is too good to end after 8 short episodes.

Sweet Jesus, I'm so damn impressed.
I cried when I watched AS 22.

Love the endings of both episodes, though the Fuuko part was a bit too long (the ending scene, the first "sponsor" scene, and the second "sponsor" scene go so damn well together... nice to see how they incorporated the "game completed" title screen of the VN into the anime).

Yokoyama Misawo I believe. I don't believe she was formally introduced yet.

Yeah, I noticed how everything came together. When I saw those scenes, I was thinking, "Oh, so THAT's where that pic came from!" And yeah, I agree that the Fuuko part was way too drawn out.

But to see how Clannad AS ended almost exactly how the game ended was beautiful and well made. I loved it. (Now to wait for the WS version of it from Eclipse...)

Hmm... I wonder what the extra episode is about. It looks like what would have happened if Tomoya didn't meet Nagisa initially or something.

A more pessimistic view of Clannad's ending (copypasta from another forum I frequent ):

[INDENT]Truth be told, this episode was less than extraordinary, nowhere near the awesomeness of episodes 18 and 19.
Now don't go flaming me before I make my point.

First, it's confusing.
It may not seem that way, but just think about the sheer amount of information that you get from this episode: the lights, the other world, the girl, etc.
As a result, it feels rushed.

Yet at the same time, it's too slow.
The drama is just not there, and trying to prolong the episode without much actual interesting plot. The final dramatic climax passed by in episode 21, and this is just falling action and conclusion, really.
The tears the viewers shed are just a result of relief: either relief that Tomoya finally gets to live a happy life or relief that Nagisa and Ushio survive. It's nothing like the painful sorrow that something like episode 16 invoked.
To apply the same drawn-out model used in episode 16 to make Nagisa's death more dramatic in the concluding episode just doesn't cut it. It doesn't work as well as it did with Nagisa's death simply because it's different.

Finally, the Fuuko bit at the end.
It's great for Fuukoists and all, but that's all there is to it.

But seeing as it's impossible to draw out the conclusion any further, there's another Fuuko scene added in. I thank the Fuuko scene for that much, but not much else. It diluted a 100% boring and total turn-off episode down to just an average one.

The Fuuko scenes were funny (the "I" part was ingenious)... until they got repetitive. The "ask me" part became annoying.

Also, the transition between the scene above (the picture) and the Fuuko part... well, there wasn't one. It just jumped straight from OMGSADDdd to OMGFUUKO!!1

Yet I have to praise the ending.
The last line/scene is a true masterpiece:



P.S.: Don't get me wrong, though. This was a good ending to After Story. I'm just saying that it wasn't brilliant. The art and scenes were amazing (in my opinion, Clannad has had countless artistic triumphs in individual scenes and uses of camera angle), and the short clips of Kyou, Ryou, Sunohara, Kotomi (wow, she's gangster), etc. were especially well placed and great to see.[/INDENT]

Minami-ke Okaeri 05-06:
Well at least I remember why I fell behind on watching this. As much as I love Minami-ke, these last two seasons really fail compared to the first one. At least Okaeri isn't as bad as Okawari.

Seriously though, I did enjoy watching Minori yell at Taiga, along with Kitamura and Ami blocking the doors while Ryuuji just stood there like an idiot. Ryuuji's indecisiveness annoys the hell out of me.

At first, I didn't recognize Mei. But then, I was like... wait, hold on a second..?!/

I didn't like how Tomoyo's shot was so... well, lame.
Tomoyo needs more than a shot of her standing at some undisclosed location doing nothing!

Clannad ~After Story~ 22:
Well to be honest I feel a little disappointed, but maybe I was expecting a little too much out of this episode (I wanted to see something as tear jerking as Nagisa's death). With that said, I did like everything up to the the scene where Naoyuki and Tomoya were walking in the field of sunflowers, after that KyoAni was just trying to get to 24 minutes. One thing I feel that should get mentioned is the light orbs flying upwards, I liked that part.

Now, time to finally play the game!

Clannad After Story 22:
Oddly enough, I found that scene in the beginning with Tomoya and Nagisa more tearjerking than anything else in the series.

Casshern Sins ep23: WOW. MARVELOUS EPISODE WAS MARVELOUS. Incredible fight between Dio and Casshern. Dio... :/ WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO LEDA? Her new, twisted body is really messed up. And yes, it was implied that Ringo is Leda's daughter. I've heard people talking about that on the net for awhile now. This episode really stressed it, with multiple scenes even.

FRICKIN' LUNA. She's so dang evil. Ending episodes CONFIRMED AWESOME, though. Braiking Boss is such a stud. I almost wonder if he's serious about aligning with Luna...or if he has other plans...

Maria+Holic ep10: ...I don't know what just happened. I think that episode was a bit too random, even for me. Who the heck was that guy? haha Thank goodness for all of Kanako's facial expressions. She makes every episode enjoyable.

Rideback 9: Why does that GGP lady keep smirking to herself?!

Toradora 23: I didn't like it. I don't like how this whole thing is wrapping up. Minorin has regained my dislike for her from the first couple of episodes plus more by now, and she is still as hypocritical as ever. Kitamura is equally annoying. Why the hell did you do that triumphant grin when you blocked the door? And Ryuuji has disappointed me. On the plus side, Taiga looked really nice with that hairstyle when she was selling the chocolate.

Clannad After Story 22: I liked the happy ending. There was a bit too much Fuko, but it was okay. I'd prefer more elaboration on the others though. Tomoyo looked cool as always in that one shot, but I wonder why she had so little screen time. Kotomi was just shockingly awesome, but was that supposed to be like a stereotype about Americans? Next episode seems pretty interesting with Nagisa's PoV but I want more alternative endings. And Nagisa looked really different with the new hairstyle.

Maria+ Holic 10: I love the ED for this show. I wish more happened, but oh well.

I heard the first one was House dubbed in moon and subbed so I ignored it. Saw some screen caps of it. I heard the second one was subbed with rants though, so I decided to wait. Then I went to bed and it's gone from TT. You have the torrent file for me? ^_^
