Crimsonwood 2

Well Elpam wears his black hood shadowing his face (though we can still see it), i'd imagine that since they live in almost year-round darkness, they're of course very sensitive to sunlight, so they'd have to cover up a fair bit.

I would say that’s why too. The sun would hurt their eyes and burn their pale skin.

Not only that makes quite a huge ammount of sense, but the only one not covering up as much (That firebrand uses her hair as a parasol for sure) is the though guy.

I can imagine the scene: Everyone feeling pain on their eyes because of the light, but the Stormbreaker, calling them all platypi...

They've been cooped up in the keep for god knows how long, so no, probably not. Biggrin

I'd think it's fairly obvious as to why the ninja-looking Master has his face partially concealed. Mr. Broadrim on the other hand is rather questionable. Maybe he's the one associated with pirates? xD
Well see, that's kinda what I was getting at: If it were just the thief guy, no surprise, but all of them are obscured in some way. The Stormbreaker captain, if you ask me, looks like he has a fake jaw (a la the Baron)

I suppose the light thing makes sense, but it's not exactly bright around Crimsonwood (then again, bright's a relative term.)

I won't be surprised if the Windraider master used guns too, he might have a hidden gun in his coat.

I am za Terminator wif ze goggles. ZE DO NAZING!

But I HIGHLY doubt the pirates will have something to do with the Keep. Though Prose said they did, it seems highly unlikely. There are a finite number of possibilties for it, and out of those, most are enigmatic.

What the hell is going on here lawl, southperry is having some kinda goggle revolution what sparked this lol. The windraider grandmaster is cool, but how did he become a cult favorite lol.

It wasn't the Windraider GrandMaster that became a cult favorite, it was his goggles.

Define "obscured in some way" for each of the Grandmasters; I don't see what you're talking about. A fake jaw isn't obscurity. It's a replacement. Or in the case of your Baron, a replacement coupled as an augmentation.

Also, the light sensitivity thing is pretty dubious. Looking at Elpam Gorlab, or even better, O-pongo (December Event 2007) didn't really seem to mind the light. And I believe O-pongo operates most often during literal daylight hours in the Versal, where everyone else (Versalian residents) would be celebrating their sun. The Nightshadow Grand Master's outfit can be explained as playing the part, and I believe Mr. Broadrim is a techie.

Flamebrand: Paperthin mask (like The Phantom of the Opera, etc.)
Windraider: Goggleemoticon + face bandana
Stormbreaker: I dunno.. he has a kinda helmet. This is the least covered
Nightshadow: Low helmet + Scarf

XP
- Ice based skill to maybe extinguish a firewall.
- Teleport/Assaulter/Corkscrew/Backspin/Rush to get past stuff.
- Flash Jump/Recoil Shot/Float for an extreme jump quest.
- Fire based skill to unfreeze a path or something.
- Dragon Roar/Magician Ultimate/Air Strike to damage something in a far spot.
- Haste to runaway from something.
- Hyperbody to survive some unavoidable thing.
- Ranged attack to hit something far away.
- Puppet to distract a guard.
- Dark Sight/Oak Barrel to get past an enemy.

If they can make Dispel-immune monsters it'll open up whole new areas of possibility for Magic/Armor Crash >_>

The problem is that paladins have no unique abilities. Literally all of their skills are weaker or equal versions of something another class has D:

Oh god, I can just see this now:
"Ok guys, you all stand up here, I'll draw the guard over here and puppet it!"
*hits the guard and flees left, putting the puppet up on the other side of a pit to allow the guard to pass out of the way*
"Alright, let's go!"
*everyone jumps down*
"HAY GAIZ LOLOLOL I GONNA KILL IT!"
*Nubby person attacks the guard*
*Group gets plowed over by the no-longer-puppetized-guard.*
