Clean Slate Glitch?

No, because that's game breaking, and this is not.
Apparently everyone sees things in black and white nowadays.

I can kinda see saying that for chair-jumping (or getting on and off a lot and getting your chair stuck showing while you're standing) since it literally has no effect on the game.


But 97% clean slate scrolls? That is a game breaker. They work almost 30 times as much as they're supposed to. There's a reason the highest percent is 20%, and it has a 40% chance to break.

So because it isnt a hack, we can use it freely? Did you forget that Nexon determines what is considered a glitch? They have banned people for offenses more trivial than this, and they dont always do it right. Who are you to determine this isnt game breaking? I suggest you should let it rest and just leave it to Nexon. Fight all you want, Nexon makes the call at the end of the day. They did with the bigfoot glitch. It was their own fault, they screwed up, people took advantage of it, they announced and banned people (even tho some never even fought with bigfoot).

According to Nexon, a glitch can be an "unintended feature", and certainly, this doesnt look like it is intended from many posters here. They have the same weight as your argument. You said it is intended until Nexon said otherwise, and other said it is NOT intended, but they just didnt know about it. We programmers call that a "bug". So quit putting others down as if they're wrong, because they're not, their opinion and your is equal in weight regarding this situation, and Nexon is gravity.

A HSer can just hang on a rope and use put HS on a macro with a rock on their button. If a hack does the same thing, auto-HSing is still =/= hacking.

It's not a hack, it's botting, and bannable.

Chances are, this IS a (bannable) glitch. Even though the benefit is "negligible" (4xx million for a few stat points might not SEEM like a game breaker to you, but consider how important attack and such is to damage, and how far most MS players will go to get that extra attack), if it does turn out to be a glitch, there could be any number of consequences associated with it (from wiping individual items from certain characters to a mass rollback), and the resulting "compensation" (mass 2x, meso/item compensation, etc) which Nexon will probably "forget" to give us, which would just cause a ton of pomegranate, etc.

You know, there's a faster way of checking whether or not you're supposed to be able to have that many slots.

Anyone who has a clean slate scroll try using it on a +6 (or +9 YAC) cape and see if there is a retroactive effect. Since Clean Slate scrolls are scroll blocked when a cape is +5 (or +8 for YACs), then using it on a +6 cape should either be scroll blocked or reduce it back to a +5.

If the scroll is scroll blocked or there are such retroactive effects, then the extra slot was not meant to be.

"Using" the toenail trick was legitimate. Smuggling was intended. Storage OPQ was intended so that you could only do less than 15% of the PQ for more than the experience gained by regularly OPQing. Bigfoot was intended to be mistable for you to gain levels, a few millions in 40 seconds. Each and every one of these are legitimate until Nexon closes the loophole.

I do it because I can. There's no such thing as a glitch unless Nexon tells me it's a glitch. Otherwise, I'll happily take advantage of the... new content that Nexon intentionally put in!
