Molly Wrote:those getting excited about the e-staff....thats the lvl 16x FULL LUK staff. only the very old school, non-reset mages can wear these... or really effed up hacker builds F3

lol i feel old after youve said this. =P
If only i knew about being luckless 3 years ago f3

I hope that staff can change up a bit.. i tire of recoloured weapons.
[Hopes for high Luk Req Mad]

I hope for the normal luk requirement too.

Statless builds have plenty of stuff as is.

and Eos who visits this forum regularly has a 16x ele staff, I think they look way cooler than the 130/103 versions.

Yes. 4th Job Gunslingers get Ship, 4th job Lumberjacks get wooden tanks that fire........Maple Characters.

Nexon: A wooden tank that shoots wood is too obvious. Let's make it so you need a party of people get into the tank, and get shot out of it for OVER 9000! damage!

Off Topic: Lol @ all the Googles around Southperry. Simpsons <3

I will laugh so hard if there is a lvl 160 holy staff with 163 luk req.

that would force people to be LUK based again. The elemental staff advantage is far superior than the lukless advantage.

Even I don't think Nexon would do this. And jms or kms [or one of thsoe versions] created the elemental weapons and specified them to be used for archmages. GMS would be breaking that rule but technically they can. I just think, and really hope, they don't.

If Nexon made the vault items untradeable, it would address a lot of people's concerns:

- does not devalue previous elemental weapons since those can be re-sold - it maintains the rarity of the previous tradeable weapons
- prizes are worth it and only obtained by people who have gone through the PQ, and not something you can simply transfer to a lower level character
- some have said recent events have made the rich richer; if the new items can't be traded, they have intrinsic value but no economic value
- low levels can't get these items, but they can get the scrolls that can enhance these items and can benefit in that way

I like their approach in designing the lunchbox. Very nice base stats, but the untradeable flag is the unique thing about it. You can put in billions of mesos to enhance it (10% + white scroll or using GM scroll), but the weapon's worth is only to the owner since it can't be resold.

Oh boy, untradeable equips that you get from a random chance in a bonus at the end of a 20 man PQ.

Hey there NPC fodder.

Now now, not forgetting about Karma Scissors are we? If HT pendant's susceptible to Karma scissors, then any equip that ever meant ANYTHING is vulnerable. No way Nexon'd pass up on this.

id be mad if they made the items untradeable, that be horrible, no one would really want to do the PQ then.

It would stop certain FM groups in the Item Selling Business somewhat...you'd have to be able to survive the whole battle to loot whatever item you were after, that is if it is a guaranteed drop like HT Pend or ZHelm.

Anything gotten that's designed for high level use that's untradeable more often than not is ridiculously godly. (HT pendants, zhelms, lunchboxes, etc)

No untradeables, please. I'd rather just see a slew of new high level weapons and armor that has similar stats but not exactly the same as existing 90/100/110 stuffs, as well as mastery books and scrolls. Seriously, useful scrolls coming out of a PQ would be great.

Would add some variety to what Pirates are allowed to use for gear, in any case >_>

I'm not really envisioning this to be an crazy high level boss fight like freaking Horntail. I'm ready to fight something as hard as four area bosses with ~10m HP a piece, and then pick up a reward and maybe hit up bonus? I'm getting a really different picture than everyone else. Maybe it's because this is a PQ >_>

That might sway me to play my MM a little more.

"OMGZ AXE XBOW"

Sounds like basil market.

Make the cape handsome, untradeable and obtainable/upgradeable every 50 PQ's or something. I want another Lord Pirate Hat.

Or something like Carnival PQ reward system. Every PQ you successfully complete, you get a badge or something. You can collect badges to buy stuff from an armory. Of course, also have the bosses drop those equips and maybe badges at a low rate.

CPQ idea might not work too well because from what I've seen, people always forget about killing and stuff, etc to loot the badge as soon as they see one. Might not work out too well for a high level PQ.

Get one badge guaranteed when exiting a successful PQ, the rest is random from boss drops at a low rate.

I'd also like to see how far teamwork goes in this PQ.

And don't make rewards as expensive as they made the horus eye from Magatia PQ. Friggin SEVENTY marbles is too much and you can't even die those people die...
