OK lets see how weird your keys are in maple story.

Messy.

The Maple Leaf on J is the macro for Magic Guard and Maple Warrior.
The Book on H is the macro for Meditation and Magic Booster.
The Shield on G is just Magic Armor, but eventually will include Mana Reflection as well.

The above are just buffs, with the faster buff coming before the second, slower buff. Three buffs is not necessary.

The Sword on Shift is just Fire Demon.
The Power Up on X is just Paralyze.

These two only have one attack because usually when I use them, I spam them. Also, because I use mount for jump, sometimes the non-macro'd version doesn't cast at all because I press it while midair. I need a macro for it to cast immediately upon landing.

Meteo is next to Mana Bulls just so I can press both at the same time and reduce chance of dying. (My Meteo is 10 so since I have 10K mp, I heal the exact amount my Meteo uses, which is 6K.)

The way I hold my keys is that I have three different grips.

First grip:
Pinkey on control (Poison Mist)
Fourth on shift (Fire Demon)
Middle on A (Teleport)
Index on (Alt) Jump
This is mainly offensive. I can shift my index finger in various ways...
1) down to press alt and space at the same time in order to jumpcast explosion.
2) right to press paralyze or fire arrow
3) recast elquines
4) up to press either slow or seal

Second Grip:
Fourth Finger on A (Teleport)
Thumb on Alt (Jump)
Index on F (Mount)
This is mainly defensive.
From here I can quickly tap mount and jump, or use my pinkey to hold down teleport.

Third Grip:
Index on J (Magic Guard and Maple Warrior)
Pinkey on A (Teleport)
This is passive. I use it to cast buffs. Sometimes I don't use this at all and just shift my index from grip two.

I play so many FPS games that I am used to using my left hand for movement, so in order to continue doing that in Maplestory, all of my attacks need to be accessable with my right hand, meaning the home/end block take those up

Also have a DK and a Bishop, I'll post my Bishop's config later. EDIT: Here it is, below.

I don't have a lot of skills on my Hermit maybe I'll log on my Paladin later since it has more.


I only carry 3 slots of potions because I can't use more between recharging stars anyway :x With 20 sets of Tobis, they're all used up before I even use 75 Sorcerer Elixirs.

Here's my most recent screen shot of mine. 13 attacking skills take up most of the left side. XD I would have a lot more on my keyboard, but the JMS key configuration is so freaking restricted...

I wish Macros could be given some basic functions at all so they weren't useless...

Like have a macro that casts any buffs if they aren't currently up.

Or being able to macro item/meso dropping, or other keyboard buttons that aren't skills.

Or other conditional stuff that depends what you have going on (like a single button to turn dark sight on and off - other than DS I never use normal attack key outside PQs)

Not a very interesting layout. All that is on the macro is the summon sprite and rage.

Macro = Soul Arrow + Sharp Eyes + Maple Warrior

Our FJ buttons are the same, lol. I find that hilarious.

The superman macro is a joke macro which consists of x2 straight and 1 backflip, which I dubbed C-C-C-COMBO.

I don't get how everyone jumps with ALT =P. Guess it is a better way to fix keys around, but I just find the space bar much more confortable for it.

-I play on a laptop so the quick slot keys are kinda far from my arrow keys, but I can't stand having my pots on other buttons.
-The macro on ` has booster power guard and combo.

Macro on U is just 3 Crushers, Set up so everything useful but Stance can be done with my right hand. (One handed Zak solos ftw.)
