Your quest thing about the dead end quest is just comparing apples to oranges. You can't compare the two. Merely, the quest is unfinished because Nexon did not write the end of the chain. The white scroll returning the slot has no relevance to an unfinished quest chain.
...But I suppose it's an intended feature.

Unless you can specifically find a similar example, you cannot prove me wrong.

Harrisonized Wrote:No. As I said before, if Nexon doesn't declare it a glitch, it is not a glitch.
If it's not a glitch, and it's not intended, then tell me what it is.

So the abuse towards the BigFoot glitching was unjustified because no files were edited? Well Nexon seemed to think it was justified, and I hope they see this justified too.

The only thing this thread has made me do is wish I had never sold those 2 or 3 Clean Slate scrolls I had in my possession months ago. Bawww...

To think when I did a 11 gach ticket run in Showa, my sis and I went "we got gachapwned... we're never gaching here again"... we just never sold these cause we cant stick them in MTS, lol.
$_$
That tears it, I must profit from this asap. Buying 30 Gacha Tickets tomorrow. Or is 11 tickets a great enough chance?

Whoa, tiger. Men don't judge on the quality of the things they've fapped to; rather, the quantity. I'd say another one for the list is a great thing.

To remain on-topic: Would the sudden influx of people gaching at Showa bring down Clean Slate scrolls to the <100m/<50m range, or would there be enough buyers to warrant a stable price range in the 100m-200m range?

Quantity over quality?? Blasphemy! :f6: If it doesn't meet my fap of approval, I delete it asap.

err, I tried 35 tickets today and got complete junk (as in 250 power elixirs, like 10+ npc equips and a 10% xbow atk before I gave up and went to zipangu to try breaing even). Guess I got lucky last time. As it is, Im just gonna sell my tickets and be content with that.
On another note, I found another 5% clean slate in a mule, lol. $$$!

Actually, that's good then, because White Slate scroll prices won't be crashing to the ground like it did for skill books.
-Gacha boxing Chaos/White Scrolls = good, because prices remained really high. -Gacha boxing 30 books = bad, because those books (exception of maybe TT30) have been forever ruined and have no hopes of going back up in price.

I'm just saying that at the moment until Nexon does something about it, if they do something about it, there is nothing "truly" wrong with doing this,

Unfortunately though, Nexon followed through by banning people who received over a certain amount of EXP which didn't exactly punish the correct people.

Yes. That will definitely happen. Nobody has an infinite amount of money, and this kind of sale is not sustainable. If all rich people bought at this rate, then pretty soon, people will have to bring maxed meso mules out and you know how limited the amount of people with Maxed meso times x is.

So how long you think we have until White Slates lose it's value? A week? 2? Less than a week?

It's like lighting a candle in a closed container. The fire will eventually go out, but it's difficult to tell when it'll go out. It'll definitely go out though when the fuel runs out, that fuel being the meso stocked by the rich.

So really what you've done is thrown all common sense out the window. I think it's pretty damn obvious Nexon didn't want to stick the Ifrit quest in my list for all eternity. It's not difficult to see that some of the stuff that goes on in the game isn't intended, yet you just want to look the other way and when it is finally announced you play the innocent act. Were those Chief Bandits in KMS justified collecting all those mesos with PickPocket just because it hadn't been announced as a glitch yet? By your logic, they should be able to keep it as long as it was obtained before it was announced. Because omg, how were they supposed to know snails weren't meant to drop hundres of millions of mesos? I'm saying it's pretty obvious when something is a glitch. You just choose not to accept it.

It's true common sense is required in order to find what's a glitch before it's ever declared. However, the example you used is much different than the BF glitch.
1. The BF glitch was harmful in a sense it allowed people to power level, but it did not break the game because no one got to 200, or even to high level 4th job through this glitch. It ruined Yellonde for a while, but server mess =/= game breaking.
2. The Pickpocket glitch. It's VERY obvious that this broke the game, because it caused there to be a ludicrous amount of money being generated that not even hackers could produce. This affected prices of EVERYTHING.
3. The White Slate glitch does not produce more mesos, and having more godly items available in the FM does not break the game either. Rather, it'll reallocate the mesos among more people (to those that managed to obtain and sell White Slates). If anything, it slightly decreases the meso supply because of tax, and in the off chance it blows up a godly item in the making, then there's more demand for said item/scrolls. This only affects a small area of the FM. Everything remains relatively untouched.
