Note: I am almost finished with Chapter 1, but am not quite there yet, so it may take some time to update this further. I did not write much story for this area, because it was meant to be a step for a (very distant) future patch.

Prologue
Legends speak of an enormous castle hidden deep within what was once the Awakening Forest. This castle had an army and a ruler so powerful, not even the Black Magician could take down alone. However, when what is now Victoria Island broke off from Ossyria, contact with the citadel was lost and never reformed...
These days, though, a mysterious darkness plagues the forest floor of the Sleepy Woods (aptly where Sleepywood is located), and many undead now wander the forest. At the same time, it has been rumored that the citadel, long lost to the ages, had been finally found once more! But the walking dead are not willing to give up their secrets so easily...

Monsters
Zombie Mushdad~ Lvl 95
HP:250,000
MP:250
Avoid:80
KB:3000
Boss:1
-Despite being a boss, Zombie Mushdads are easily the easiest monster in the Sleepy Woods. Don't underestimate them, though; their ridiculous Avoid make them hard to hit. Nonetheless, players should be more wary of Elder Wraiths then these.
Elder Wraith~ Lvl 95
HP:51000
MP:500
Avoid:38
KB:7000
EXP:2480
-Do not be fooled; this Elder Wraith is not a spirit of Crimsonwood Keep. Why it is here is not certain, but beware them, for they now have a far higher KB! Still does 2500 damage, as well.
Fallen Hero~ Lvl 103
HP:65000/ 59000 (Axe)
MP:230/ 314 (Axe)
Avoid:43
KB:6000
EXP:3300
*Undead*
*Resistant to Holy, Wep. Atk
-Mysteriously, similar Fallen Heroes to those that haunt the Ominous Paths of Helvetia have arisen in the Sleepy Woods. Certainly something more is at work here...
Doomed Dragon Knight~ Lvl 107
HP:92000
MP:500
Avoid:32
KB:8000
EXP:3900
-A fallen Dragon Knight, now resurrected by a mysterious force to wreak havoc on those who dare wander through the woods!
Guardian Golem~ Lvl 115
HP:115,000
MP:700
Avoid:22
KB:11000
EXP:6000
-A mysterious relative of Stone Golems, Guardian Golems protect the mysterious Blackheart Citadel from those who attempt to pierce its depths. Be warned: it punches the ground to inflict 3000 damage to those that don't jump!
Corrupted Corsair ~Lvl 120
HP:135,000
MP:900
Avoid:45
KB:7000
EXP:6500
*Resistant to non-Holy Wep. Atk.
-These Corsairs have many variations on their bullet attacks, but the most common is firing 4 at a time, inflicting 2000 damage total. Beware if they take a ship out, though: some of the shots do in excess of 5000 damage!
Soul Keeper ~Lvl 120
HP:140,000
MP:1000
Avoid:57
KB:2500
EXP:7000
*Auto-Aggro*
*Immune to Holy*
*Resistant to Wep. Atk.
*Summons Doomed Dragon Knights, Corrupted Corsairs
-Soul Keepers are the corrupted souls of Soul Masters. They trap spirits and bend them to their own will. As such, they are effectively Necromancers. However, due to their Soul Master training, they also have a holy embodiment. Found on a few maps in the Sleepy Woods.
Temple Golem ~Lvl 125
HP:175,000
MP:1000
Avoid:32
KB:15000
EXP:8000
-Caretakers of the mysterious Eternum Temple, Temple Golems should never be underestimated. They have two attacks; one is a full screen Blizzard, with similar range to the mage ultimate. This can freeze, by the way. The other is a punch that can SKB + stun you across the map. They also have the Increase Magic Attack buff, so be careful; you don't want to be one-shotted!

NxPeep scribblings...
(2-19-09): The Blackheart Citadel is very, very important to the Helvetia story. I think I've even indirectly referenced it at least twice. From now on, I think I'm writing these Additions in Word before adding them to SP. :/
Just be on your toes, Maplers. The Citadel will be referred to again many times, and you probably will return here once the upper floors are placed down.
(2-21-09): Just coming by for a little bit, to tell that we are already also in the making of Chapter 3: Saravim Steppes 2 ~ The Windblown Ruins! Expect another stunning boss fight, as well!
(2-22-09): Stopping by once again, noting some ideas down; The Sleepy Woods are a puzzle, perhaps trickier than the Phantom Forest, for all the portals are one way, except the ones connecting the Citadel's entrance to the Temple's entrance. I can guarentee the first time you attempt to reach Blackheart Citadel, you will die! On a sidenote, I was recently given this note from the Windblown Ruins:
"We are being assaulted from the east by a huge army of Nighthawks! They, under Admir.. (burned here) ...n, have destroyed half the city! The Priests are keeping them out, for now..."
Oh, and for music, Neo Tokyo Odaiba and Akiabara music comes most to mind for the Windblown Ruins. The Dragon Forest music comes most to mind for Vorenthos Delta, but so does Ulu City. As for Seos and the two instanced bosses of the Windblown Ruins, the Egg Genesis music from Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 is prominant.
