메이플스토리 테스트 클라이언트 버전 1.2.198이 릴리즈 되었습니다.
이번 패치에서는 다음과 같은 사항이 수정, 추가되었습니다.


<게임 관련>

1. 몬스터 카니발 축제가 시작됐습니다.
The Monster Carnival Parade has started
- 몬스터 카니발 시즌2 보상 경험치가 상향되었습니다.
The experience given by monsters has increased - before it was 1 exp per monster making Monster Carnival 2 with almost no people
- 축제기간 동안 몬스터 카니발 시즌2에 200회 참여하시면 ‘열혈카니발리언의 훈장’을 얻을 수 있습니다.
During the parade periods, when entering MC2 200 times, you can get the "Passionate Carnivaler's Medal"
- 축제기간 동안 몬스터 카니발 시즌2에 참여하시면, 승패에 관계없이 축제 보너스 경험치를 받으실 수 있습니다.
When entering MC2 during the parade periods, you can receive the parade exp whether you have won or lost
- 몬스터 카니발 시즌2에 출몰하는 몬스터의 능력치가 수정되었습니다.
The stats of the MC2 monsters have been modified

1. 골드리치의 보물섬이 발견되었습니다. 황금나침반을 완성하면 이동하실 수 있습니다.
- 골드리치의 나침반: 레벨 13 이상, 카산드라, 자동시작, 10분마다 반복가능
Gold-Rich's treasure island has been discovered. With the golden compass, you can enter the island

and some hairstyle patches according to a popular Korean Drama

with a 51 Windbreaker in kMS, I'm really looking forward for this MC2 Parade!

Scrolls

10%, 30%, 60%, 70%, 100% scrolls for belt STR, INT, DEX, LUK (belts from Mulung Dojo)
10%, 30%, 60%, 70%, 100% scrolls for ring STR, INT, DEX, LUK (Sorcerer's Ring)

It looks like scrolls for pendants will soon appear too..

So its events and MCPQ2 being altered?
No new Time Period areas yet? (judging from the balrog teaser i saw a while ago.

Time Period seems to be out of Nexon's mind.
As a 51 Windbreaker (and a Paladin) Low-level patches seem to be so.. marvelous!

Can someone give pictures of the new hairstyle?
And what is the Gold- Rich

Gold-Rich may be that Party Quest we were discussing on the extraction threads at one time; and monsters and obstacles from it were unveiled.
Basically, Gold-Rich PQ issupposedly a challenging PQ with strictly puzzles; the foil of Mu Lung Dojo's Boss PQ.

Pendants not yet... Anyways, they seem to be different scrolls for each.

Could Goldrich be related to that 1 update? :f6:
The 1 where something would "return." Maybe there's a connection between Goldrich and the big update.

Do you have a separate source for this information? The text says the reward experience increased, but not the experience from monsters.

Maybe a noob question but : What's GoldRich?

Somehow it hasn't been asked yet. Does anyone know what a sorcerer's ring is?

Quest reward (requires NX, but is a tradeable ring - 1/1/1/1 stats afaik)

You know what the exp increase was?
the monsters exp increase match their CP now, so the Viking gives 10 and the weakest monster gives 1. LAME.

I am not sure yet, but
A rank Win - 60k~90k (Because it is 1350K in tespia, we have no idea yet)
A rank Lose - 10k~20K (Same applies)

The monsters seem to be giving normal exps now.
But we still need to see everything being patched into the Main Server though..

It's a PQ.
Goldrich is the name of the NPC that takes you to the PQ.
Aside from that, Nothing much else is known.

I expect next patch the new boss and the finishing details about the ”Grandpa Balrog”.
The new boss monster will be located in… Sleepywood Dungeon. It has his own beautifully designed map, and it looks like the new boss won’t be high-leveled.

It sounds like this story is related to Manji’s ragged Gladius quest. Long long ago, Manji was in danger of being attacked by Balrog, only to be saved by the legendary hero Tristan. He died in place of Manji, and for that, he’s been keeping that sword to this day.
They added an NPC ”Soul of Tristan”, so probably more about him and about the evil Balrog will be unveiled.

finally, I was expecting some kind of continue from the last quest =D

I guess the Bone of the Balrog there is the exactly same balrog that attacked manji and died with Tristan..

The new boss itself isn't there.
