So uhm ok, Nexon Emergency Patch?

Ok, hackers have GM commands now, or they found a way to emulate them.

I was killing some Manons in Leafre for fun, and on my 6th Manon (I killed it only for 10% or so, so 90% of the HP was left). Then this shiet head entered my map, and -BAM- instant killed Manon, looted the drops (crap skill book, but I guess he was there for Manon Cry) and cc'ed... all within 5 seconds...

Yes, instant kill... no damage, no "no-delay hacks", just manon dead in 1 second with 2million HP left... -.-

Remeber, Manon is a boss, so with this crap they can 1hit kill Horntail too...

This would explain the hourly Horntail kills too in Khaini though...

So Nexon America... what are you gonna do now? I would advise an Emergency Patch...

P.S. I asked on IRC to make this thread first, Mira and Providence allowed me to make this, so don't report this as "hacker discussion".
I just think these hacks hit so fundamentally hard on the basics of maple it's important enough for everyone to know what is happening atm...

Horntail has been hacked 24/7 for many weeks now on some servers. If there wasn't an emergency patch for that, there probably won't be for anything.

I've been seeing a lot of messages about HT being killed in Scania too, quite often. For the 1 hour that I'm on daily, I see about 2-3, probably.

No point in doing an emergency patch if they don't have a solution yet.

It's probably more that the h4x0r will get his ass banned for sure if he bans someone. Handing out bans is a very serious business.

And if he wanted to do that, he wouldn't have come in the map, killed manon in a second like we've seen hackers do many times before to various bosses (HT included), and then left. He would have followed him around and whatnot, rofl.

GMS devs are not THAT dumb to let that kind of exploit slip through.

It's been happening for months though. o_o Even in SEA, hackers would do this in HT. People have been complaining about people doing this on their pap runs too.

They have two commands for that. Remove and destroy. I've seen them both.

Edit: You have the data for gm skills in the wz-files, so why not abuse it somehow?

You're missing the point. Hackers can now 1 hit ko anything they see,which means hacking horntail can now be done within 5 mins,while before it was done within an hour. Which means the drops from horntail are gona be flooding the fm quite a lot now.

Besides, like i said before, it's not like this is new...

nexon solution: make all the HT drops other then pendant available from gacha boxes, therebye making the drop worthless on their own, and giving hackers no mesos for them.

1HKO for Horntail... I didn't even know that was possible for hackers. Anyways, if the hackers are getting away at this then I smell a huge deflation for prices.
