Thanksgiving "Allowance" Maple Points

I logged a ticket about not getting the Maple Points a week ago. Today I received a response, apparently entirely automated. It's asking for details I actually provided in my ticket, but I had it in the wrong category. Confusedhrug: Whatever. Logged a new ticket per their instructions, I'll let you all know if and when I receive any Maple Points.

Since the response is not "we are aware of the problem and working to fix it" but rather asking for details as if I am the only one this happened to, I'm posting this here. If you want your Maple Points, don't just sit and wait for Nexon to sort it all out. Log a ticket, following GM Tibaroo's instructions.
Hopefully that will help.


Update 17-Jan-2009: The ticket I logged on the 9th, per GM Tibaroo's instructions, is still in "New" status - meaning nobody has even glanced at it. gg, Nexon. I bet that's why they asked for the subject to be "Thanksgiving Event MP" - that way they know there's no need to look at this ticket, it won't make them any money. (unlike other tickets in the Cash Shop category).

Update 31-Jan-2009: About two days ago, my ticket's status changed to "Escalated". Still no comments on it, nor points in my account.

Update 3-Feb-2009: My ticket has been closed, with the following response

We have completed investigating your account and have determined that you are eligible for <correct amount> MaplePoints.

No points in my account yet, of course. Those things take time to manufacture and transport, you know. I can wait 2-3 weeks.

Hey, that ticket's response sounds a lot like the little survey we had on Southperry regarding the issue a while ago!

If the other thread is correct, they started the server check about 3 hours after the cards expired, so anybody who'd logged on during that time lost their cards, so they didn't have a record of them possessing them (since it was recorded during the server check)

You don't receive any maple points if you logged on any time on December 16th before the 10pm patch. It has to do with them setting the cards to expire on midnight December 16th, which actually made them expire on the midnight between December 15th and December 16th, instead of the midnight following the start of the patch.

Yeah, I've been wanting to get after then for that for a while now. I had around 2300 on my main and none on the others, received nothing. I do recall logging on in that window of time and watching them go poof, although oddly I only had two different expired notices instead of the expected 20 or so. Didn't take an SS so now I pretty much think I'm SOL for those points... there goes my reg FM permit Frown

Oh and I can't log a ticket right now since they left the one about the Holiday PQ glitch open till now and won't close it.


So if I were to send a ticket though, it would be like:

Player~LongShotJohn

Maple Point Cards~2x250=500 & 18x100=1800
Received~Nada

Why do they answer your ticket but not mine. I logged a ticket Dec. 17th, about my name change, and it still hasn't been answered. -.-

Okay, I don't know what time I logged in, but I remember being totally shocked seeing my cards disapear, and a friend told me that was normal, and his and everybody elses cards had done that.

I got my maple points though

I saw my NX cards dissapear too...
I logged onto my sniper on that time, and got my Maple points.
My Mage on the other hand, I did not log on that day, and got more points than my sniper did... got nothing.

I still havent got mine, logged a ticket but still waiting for it to be looked at.

I tried to log a ticket, but I kept getting an error while sending it, so I just gave up. :/

Don't give up yet. Log a ticket (when they get around to closing your old one) with an SS of your Completed Quest log, showing how many "Game On" quests you did.
While they might argue that you threw all the cards away as soon as you got them, if they have any decency they would give you credit for at least some points.

I haven't got mine, either.
The ticket I logged when I started this thread was "New" until two days ago, when its status changed to "Escalated". Still no comment on it and no Maple Points in my account.

In your place I'd log a ticket. I'm pretty sure people who don't log a ticket will not get their points. It's debatable whether those of us who did log one, will get them.
