Please note that the estimated length of time for each maintenance is subject to change without notification.

What will be unavailable:

• All MapleStory game servers.
  
• Website login and the billing system will be unavailable from:
  • PST: 5:00 AM – 8:30 AM

  • AEDT: 12:00 AM - 3:30 AM (Dec. 16)

Changes and Updates:

• MapleStory will be updated to v.179. Check out the patch notes here!
  
• Apply Windows updates to the game servers.
  
• Back end changes will be made to improve server stability.
  
• The Fafnir Big Mountain weapon will now be available in the list of items when using Pieces of Destruction.
  
• The Lionheart Valore weapon will now be available in the list of items when using Pieces of Ruin.
  
• The Content Icon (book notifier) will be available again on the left side of the screen.
  
• Titles from the Water Wars event will now display correctly.
  
• The Tot's Know-How window will no longer crash when accepting rewards.
  
• The Gollux Boss encounter is accessible again.
  
• Tradeable items purchased through the Auction House will no longer become untradeable after the transaction is made.
  
• The sorting arrows in the Auction House will now line up correctly.
  
• The search function in the Cash Shop will now work properly.
  
• Using the up and down arrows in the world selection screen will now cycle through the worlds correctly.
  
• Using Aran's hyper skill, Maha's Domain, will no longer cause the character to become darker.
  
• Dual Blade's Flash Jump and Blade Ascension combo will now work properly outside of the Mu Lung Dojo.

Funny. Because this is already fixed from either the .3 or .4 minor patch. Really goes to show what they know about their own game.

Also no mention of Play V event extension... They said they would extend it by 4 days but if they don't, I'm doomed.

One bug that I can't believe they never noticed is the Korean prefixes for the elite monsters. Most of you guys probably see question marks since all of you are probably not on Korean locale (I am but only because I'm too lazy to change it back) but it's actually in Korean. There's only a few that are properly in English but they still seem to have extra non-translated Korean prefixes in front of those few actually translated. An elite monster showed up when SavageAce was talking in Chu Chu Island with the Pinedeer and I wasn't watching this live but I was just about to scream my head off.

This patch better fix the retarded crash, that doesn't allow so many players myself included to play.
Whenever I pineappleing pick "North America" it just crashes sigh .
I played fine before that stupid merge, I just wanna enjoy some GMS for a little but nope.

As well as the stupid website, it doesn't load on my computer but on my laptop it does like god damn, neither can play NA tho.

All I pray for is they finally fix the lag. They can take all day patching this so long as they fix the freaking lag.

From the looks of the server status page, it seems like they're adding a lot of machines to all worlds.
I am not sure that's the problem, though. It's their network that's bottlenecked, which is why even the "empty" worlds lag when Reboot is overloaded. Hopefully they're also adding networking hardware to improve throughput.

Nexon Launcher wants me to download the whole 9 GB again. I don't know what I feel about this.

Well some things are fixed, the Scuba chair now displays depth for you and everyone(i think everyone). Gollux works again.

Evan link still mia. Commerci still doesn't count as a "town" so you can't auction house from it. You'll get a notice saying "Job : 312" (might be different for other jobs) and a quest constantly expiring "[??? ???? ??]"

Grinding for 2 hours per stone, with no ability to cancel a stone once it's full, for a total of 6 hours wait time.

I just killed bosses like Ranmaru, Madman Ranmaru, HT, etc. to fill mine up so not really a grind but the wait is still silly.

They did say "new Gachapon" somewhere in game when you click the event star earlier today, so I think it's a change they forgot to address in the patch notes.
Could be an accident though.

You don't have to be online for the 8 hour cooldowns.
