This pet can be revived with a Water of Life.

Still is a decent gift since the Water of Life only cost 2K NX and you can revive the pet for 90 days.

A whole new 90-day pet only costs 4.9k NX anyway.
Water of life costs 2.4k.
Not like they saved us an expense that is orders of magnitude higher. Just about one Water of Life's worth.

Also, it's a matter of principle. Reboot is supposed to give "no advantage through NX". Whether it's $2000 or $2 doesn't matter. Paying should not give someone the ability to collect meso and drops a hundred times faster than a non-payer does.
Giving us this pet so we'd be tempted to pay NX to revive it is nothing but a "first hit is free" lure.

I really do not mind the pet thing much. I'm willing to pay a small amount for a game I enjoy, so meh. Perfect is the enemy of good and all that.
