Nexon Wrote: Get ready, because the Marvel Machine is returning on November 4 at 11 AM Pacific (2 PM Eastern)!

The Marvel Ambassadors have searched far and wide for the most intriguing, attractive, and powerful items in existence, and now they’re passing these relics on to you.

We’ve made several changes for this run of Marvel Machine, based largely on the feedback and ideas of the Maple Leaf Council. Spin away for one week and receive three glorious prizes with every spin! What marvels are waiting for you within the Marvel Machine? Get your hands on items like a Hyper Teleport Rock (Permanent), Lv. 150 Alicia's Mutated Staff, Red Cubes, and much much more. With every spin, you also have the chance to win 1 Million Maple Points!

For the record, our marvel document specifically said no Tower of Oz items (as the public was polled and this was the general consensus and is thus public knowledge well before this post).

It's going to have Ryude's sword as well. The only item explicitly called out by name that we recommended not be included in Marvel.

I have to wait and see the full list of items, but so far it looks like the exact opposite of what we suggested is being implemented.

Interesting.

I wonder why Prime scrolls are in the list of junk rewards to be removed. Then again Tyrants are in there too. So I guess that list is both of things too worthless and too good to be in Marvel?

90-day hyper rock makes sense. It's like a bundle of 3 rocks, and is consistent with the packs of cubes and smegas and such. Permanent rock, though... probably pops out at the same rate as the 1m maple point coin.

Why was the link to the poll removed? Wasn't that poll in a public place? Or Nexon would rather not let us see the bit about Oz equips (which the MLC request apparently didn't mention at all?)

All in all, can't say I agree with the MLC's requests. But I wouldn't Marvel anyway, so maybe my opinion doesn't count.
Good luck to all who throw their money at this thing.

Gotta make those Q4 numbers look good somehow, right?
They keep saying they want their games to be Free2Win and not Pay2Win but they keep doing things like this that is not helping their case. Shows you how much they care. I was fine with MM before this, they've only made made it worse.

In regards to Southperry, I think it should be made clear that our disagreements with the site is not about their admin hurting our teams' "feelings", more that they engage in tracking and publication of movements of Nexon America employees to and from their website to a closed group of donors, and continue to engage in and allow extremely negative discussion of Nexon America employees on their website. When confronted with their removal as a fansite once this came to light, their admins showed a side that confirmed that removing them was the correct choice.

Looks like primes are still in marvel as well.

MLC isn't at fault for this one, guys. We pretty much all agreed on removing primes.

We wanted marvel to focus on cash items and move away from in-game items.

you say that, and i would even be inclined to agree with you, but:

so either the MLC separates themselves from this choice, or get used as punching bags for a terrible decision they may or may not have made.

"I am a little ticked off by Artasai's statement." does not come close to describing how I feel, especially after all the hard work I/we put in (only to have them plagarised like nobody's business, but that's another matter entirely).

Eos;

You mean the side where he isn't an ass-kisser?
Yeah, too bad about that. Guess that's what too much intelligence, knowledge, and experience does to people.
No offense intended to any admins of recognized fansites.

How come lot of people want to remove prime scrolls from marvel? Seeing as they're literally the best scrolls in the game, personally i think that funding yourself up to eventually prime all your gear is a great goal to have end game.

Because it contributes to the pay2win emphasis in the game. It's not that they're a bad item and not worth the NX to spin, it's that you're paying $ to get stronger in ways free2play players can't.
